The Atlanta Hawks' ownership search is moving very slowly, according to a source.

The NBA removed Bruce Levenson as owner and he is now selling the Hawks.

Grant Hill could be a candidate to buy the team. He was interested in buying the Los Angeles Clippers last season.

Al Horford and LaMarcus Aldridge have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for games played between Dec. 15-Dec. 21.

In winning the honor for the second time in his career, Horford led the Hawks to a perfect 3-0 week (road wins over Cleveland and Houston, and a home win over Chicago), averaging 18.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.0 steals in 32.0 minutes (.605 FG%, .750 FT%).

In wins vs. San Antonio, vs. Milwaukee, at San Antonio and at New Orleans, Aldridge averaged 26.3 points (51.7% FG), 14.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.25 steals and 1.25 blocked shots.

The Atlanta Hawks have recalled forward/center Adreian Payne from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League.

In two stints with the Mad Ants, Payne has appeared in six games, starting five, averaging 13.5 points, 10.5 rebounds (tied for seventh in the D-League) and 2.3 assists in 31.3 minutes. He was originally assigned on November 20, recalled on November 23, and re-assigned on November 28.
