The Atlanta Hawks have assigned guard Tim Hardaway Jr. to the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League, pursuant to the flexible assignment rule.

Hardaway Jr. has played in two D-League games this season with the Canton Charge, averaging 17.0 points in 32.7 minutes.

Al Horford has returned to the Wasserman Media Group as his agency.

Horford joined with Bill Duffy of BDA Sports Management earlier this year.

Horford had been represented by Arn Tellem at Wasserman for much of his career. He briefly left the agency when Tellem joined the front office of the Detroit Pistons.

Horford will be a free agent this offseason.

“It’s just a personal decision,” Horford told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I just felt more comfortable being with Wasserman.”

The Atlanta Hawks have assigned guard/forward Lamar Patterson to the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League, pursuant to the flexible assignment rule, it was announced today by President of Basketball Operations/Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.

Patterson has appeared in 16 games this season for the Hawks. He played in two contests earlier this season with Austin (Nov. 13 and 14), averaging 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.0 steal in 34.5 minutes (.455 FG%).

Hardaway Jr. has appeared in four games this season for the Hawks, and Tavares has played in three contests.
