The Atlanta Hawks have signed Tyler Cavanaugh to a two-year contract.

Cavanaugh was previously on a two-way contract with the Hawks.

The Atlanta Hawks have waived Nicolas Brussino.

Brussino was claimed off waivers by the Hawks this offseason after his release by the Dallas Mavericks.

John Collins will miss the next two to three weeks with a shoulder injury.

Collins suffered a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder on Thursday.

Collins underwent an MRI on Friday that revealed no tear.

The Atlanta Hawks are already without Dewayne Dedmon in the frontcourt.
