The NBA fined both Dennis Schroder and Terry Rozier $25,000 for their conduct during the Oklahoma City Thunder's 104-102 overtime win over the Charlotte Hornets. 

Schroder was fined for intentionally making contact with an official.

Rozier was fined for throwing the game ball into the stands at the end of regulation. 

P.J. Washington is expected to be sidelined through Christmas with a fractured finger, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Hornets play 5 games during that time. 

Washington is averaging 12.3 points and 5.3 rebounds on the season.

David Fizdale turned down several offers from other NBA teams without having an assurance the New York Knicks would hire him, which was an indicator of how badly he wanted the job.

The Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns offered Fizdale their head coaching jobs, while he also could have become head coach of the Charlotte Hornets.

Fizdale ultimately signed a four-year, $22 million deal with the Knicks.

Fizdale's first order of business was to establish a relationship with Kristaps Porzingis, but he never coached him. Porzingis was traded at the 2019 deadline and Porzingis was fired less than 12 months later.

The Charlotte Hornets are expected to receive trade interest in Marvin Williams.

Williams is on an expiring contract.

Sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic that several teams are monitoring the availability of Williams.
