Jabari Parker said he doesn't blame his demotion from the starting lineup on Jim Boylen, stating that there are larger issues within the Chicago Bulls organization at play.

"It's bigger than Jim. I think it's the overall organization and the direction they're going. I've done everything that's been asked of me. I didn't complain. I never had an argument or confrontation with anybody. I've done what I do," said Parker. He added that "I kept my end of the bargain".

Parker hasn't played since December 13th. There has been little interest in Parker on the trade market. 

Several teams in need of "3-and-D" help have inquired about trading for Justin Holiday.

The Bulls swingman is in the final year of a two-year, $9 million deal.

Holiday is currently averaging 11.9 points with a career-high 2.7 3-pointers per game.

The Chicago Bulls have signed guard Brandon Sampson to a Two-Way contract. In accordance with team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. In a preceding move, the Bulls waived Two-Way player Tyler Ulis.

Sampson (6-5, 184) went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft after playing three seasons at Louisiana State University. He has played in 18 games (18 starts) this season for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA G League, averaging 17.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 35.1 minutes per game. At LSU, Sampson played in 85 games (40 starts) from 2015-18. Over his career with the Tigers, he averaged 7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists, scoring a career-high 24 points twice in the 2016-17 season.

The Chicago Bulls have made Robin Lopez available in trade talks.

Lopez is on a $14.4 million expiring salary, which could make a trade difficult. 

If Lopez isn't traded by the deadline, he could become a buyout candidate. 

The Chicago Bulls have received very little interest in a Jabari Parker trade.

Sources say Parker has all but checked out in hopes of an imminent trade from the Bulls.

Parker signed a two-year, $40 million deal with the Bulls in the offseason with Year 2 being a team option.

Tyler Ulis underwent a left hip arthroscopy on Friday.

Ulis will be out indefinitely.

The Chicago Bulls waived Ulis from his Two-Way contract.

The Chicago Bulls have agreed to sign Brandon Sampson to a two-way contract.

Sampson is currently playing for the Windy City Bulls.

The Bulls will waive Tyler Ulis. 

The New York Knicks have expressed preliminary interest in trading for Jabari Parker.

The Knicks are not prepared to trade any first round picks as they enter a pivotal 2019 offseason.

Parker is in Year 1 of a two-year, $40 million deal with the second season being a team option. The Knicks could conceivably look to unload some 2019 salary in a deal for Parker.

Bobby Portis injured his right ankle in the fourth quarter of the Bulls game versus the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.

An MRI and repeat physical exam were performed this morning, and he was diagnosed with a sprained ankle. Portis will be out two-to-four weeks.

Zach LaVine will be out two to four weeks with an ankle injury.

LaVine suffered a sprained deltoid ligament last week.

LaVine is averaging 23.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
