The New York Knicks continue to monitor Zach LaVine's situation with the Chicago Bulls, sources told Ian Begley of SNY.

The Knicks had done background work on LaVine last summer had the Bulls been prepared to trade LaVine.

It is not clear whether the Bulls will listen to offers for LaVine, who can be a free agent in 2022.

The Knicks have five first-round picks over the next three drafts to offer in a potential deal.

This season's trade deadline is March 25th. 

Wendell Carter Jr. underwent an MRI on Tuesday, which confirmed his original diagnosis of a severe right quadricep contusion.

Carter will continue his daily therapy regimen and be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Carter is averaging 12.8 points and 8.0 rebounds in 26.9 minutes this season with the Chicago Bulls.

The Memphis Grizzlies game against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday has been postponed due to health and safety protocols.

It will be the fifth straight Grizzlies game that has been postponed.

The Grizzlies have had no new players enter the league's health and safety protocol, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Billy Donovan said that the Chicago Bulls are still learning how to win following their 127-125 overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"This is a hard-working group. It's a good group of guys. They want to win. They don't know how to. They are learning how to," said Donovan after the game. 

The Bulls lead by as much as 22 points in the third, and were up by 10 with 1:56 remaining in regulation.

According to ESPN Stats & Information research, teams were 1-2,930 when trailing by 10 or more points in the final two minutes of regulation over the last five years. 

"It is really hard to win in this league if you don't do three things: If you don't win the free throw battle, the rebounding battle and the turnover battle, it's really difficult. And for us, we've gotten destroyed in the turnover battle the whole entire year," added Donovan. 

Tomas Satoransky and a Chicago Bulls staff member tested positive for COVID-19, according to Billy Donovan.

"He's obviously got to quarantine and he's going through the league protocols with that. We had another support-staff person test positive, but the guys that were out on that road trip are still out, they're not available tonight, so we've pretty much have the same group that we had on those three road games -- well, the last two games against Washington and Milwaukee," said Donovan. 

Chandler Hutchison tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

Lauri Markkanen and Ryan Arcidiacono are also out for the Bulls due to health and safety protocols.

Hutchison, who remains in Washington, D.C., missed the Bulls' Friday night loss against the Bucks. 

Lauri Markkanen, Ryan Arcidiacono and Tomas Satoransky also missed the game due to health and safety protocols. 

"There's just a lot of inconveniences to be quite honest with you, and it's just kind of the way of the world," said Billy Donovan.
