The Indiana Pacers (6-7) scored just 34 points in the first half, but woke up to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers (6-10) on Wednesday night. Troy Murphy led with 18 points and 11 rebounds, Brandon Rush posted 13 points and 11 boards and T.J. Ford added 11 points, six assists and five rebounds. Indiana turned the ball over just eight times and was without leading scorer Danny Granger. Baron Davis scored 25 points on 11-for-19 shooting, Marcus Camby tallied 15 points and 21 rebounds and Chris Kaman contributed 10 points and 10 boards.

Charlotte held Toronto to 34% shooting and turned the ball over just nine times. Chris Bosh led with 18 points and 14 rebounds, Amir Johnson posted 13 points and eight boards and DeMar DeRozan totaled 12 points and six rebounds.

Kidd Moves Into 2nd On All-Time Assists List

Jason Kidd moved into second place on the NBA's career assists list on Wednesday.

Kidd recorded seven assists to reach 10,337 in his career. He came in needing five to pass Mark Jackson's career total (10,334), and now trails only John Stockton (15,806).

Kidd passed Jackson on the career assists list with an alley-oop pass to Rodrigue Beaubois with 10:53 left in the third quarter.

Monta Ellis scored 13 of his season-high 37 points in the fourth quarter, Stephen Curry added 11 of his 18 points in the final 4 minutes and the Warriors ended Dallas? five-game winning streak with a 111-103 victory over the Mavericks on Tuesday night, according to an Associated Press report.

Don Nelson Out With Pneumonia

Warriors coach Don Nelson has pneumonia and isn't traveling with the team for two games in Texas, according to an ESPN.com report.

The 69-year-old Nelson missed practice Sunday and again Monday. The team said he had been diagnosed with pneumonia and would miss games Tuesday at Dallas and Wednesday at San Antonio.

Dampier To Undergo More Tests

Mavericks center Erick Dampier is set to undergo more tests regarding his mysterious illness.

He became ill during pregame warm-ups in Detroit on Sunday.

"I think we'll know sometime next week where things are at," coach Rick Carlisle told the Dallas Morning News. "I know there's still some testing being done."

Marion Vows To Return On Tuesday

Mavericks forward Shawn Marion will not play against the Kings on Friday night.

Marion sprained his ankle on Monday against the Bucks and sat out Wednesday's contest against the Spurs.

He is optimistic that he'll return for Tuesday's battle with the Warriors.

"Hopefully one more game and I'll be good," Marion said after the Mavs' shootaround on Friday. "It's feeling better, but it still hurts."

Tests Show Dampier's Illness Not Life Or Career Threatening

All concerns about the possibility of a life or career ending illness for Erick Dampier have been cleared, according to a source.

Dampier became ill in pregame warm-ups Sunday against Detroit and was transported to a hospital in Pontiac, Mich.

There remains no timetable for Dampier's return, however.

Joe Johnson starred with 35 points and nine assists, Josh Smith posted 20 points and 16 rebounds and Al Horford added 15 points and 10 boards in the victory. Atlanta outrebounded Portland by 10 and forced 19 turnovers. LaMarcus Aldridge had 18 points and nine rebounds, Steve Blake tallied eight points and 11 assists and Brandon Roy contributed 17 points and nine boards at Philips Arena.

Jameer Nelson led with 16 points, six rebounds and five assists, Dwight Howard tallied 14 points and 11 boards and Rashard Lewis returned from suspension with 10 points on 4-for-15 shooting. Charlotte hit 50% of their shots, but Orlando won the rebounding battle by seven and dominated the third quarter. Boris Diaw scored a game-high 21 points, Gerald Wallace posted 11 points and nine rebounds and Jackson put up 13 points and nine boards in his debut.

Dirk Nowitzki hit the game-winner to push the Dallas Mavericks (8-3) past the Milwaukee Bucks (5-3) in overtime on Monday night. Nowitzki starred with 32 points and 11 rebounds, Drew Gooden posted 22 points and 14 boards and Jason Kidd stuffed the stat sheet with nine points, 17 assists and 10 rebounds. Dallas shot 51%, but allowed Milwaukee to creep back into the game in the third quarter. Brandon Jennings led with 25 points, eight assists and seven rebounds, Ersan Ilyasova tallied 19 points and 12 boards and Andrew Bogut totaled 13 points and six rebounds at the Bradley Center.

The Dallas Mavericks (7-3) used an 11-point edge in the third quarter to defeat the Detroit Pistons (5-5) on Sunday night. Dirk Nowitzki starred with 25 points, six rebounds and five assists, Drew Gooden posted 11 points and 11 boards and Jason Kidd added 10 points and seven dimes. Detroit won the rebounding battle by six, but Dallas turned the ball over just eight times. Rodney Stuckey scored 28 points, Charlie Villanueva tallied 13 points and 10 rebounds and Will Bynum chipped in 27 points on 11-for-16 shooting in the loss.

Kevin Durant starred with 40 points and eight rebounds, Nenad Krstic tallied 10 points and five boards and Russell Westbrook contributed 17 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
