The Dallas Mavericks agreed to a two-way contract with Tyler Dorsey, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Dorsey averaged 12.8 points and 2.3 rebounds for Olympiacos last season. 

Haralabos Voulgaris and the Dallas Mavericks parted ways last offseason and he recently became principal owner of CD Castellon, a third division soccer club in Spain.

Sources say Voulgaris receive overtures from at least three NBA teams about possible employment opportunities.

Voulgaris spent the bulk of last season preparing for his entry into soccer ownership.

Luka Doncic gave an interview in Spanish about the offseason of the Dallas Mavericks in which they lost their second best player in Jalen Brunson to the New York Knicks for nothing, traded away his best friend on the team in Boban Marajanovic, and didn't sign Goran Dragic.

Doncic gave an anodyne answer as he expects the Mavericks to be active as the offseason continues. 

For his part, Doncic hasn't tried to participate heavily in the Mavericks' roster decisions.

"They seek his input, but he's not heavily involved in personnel decisions," said Tim MacMahon. "He has not shown interest in being heavily involved. He spends much of his offseason in Europe. He's not a guy who has shown the desire to be a recruiter."

MacMahon added that the situation is in its early stages.

"I don't get any sense of panic though from Mavericks' management," said MacMahon.

While the Mavericks lost Brunson, they will get Tim Hardaway Jr. back from injury and they also traded for Christian Wood. 

The Mavericks haven't paid the luxury tax in eight seasons but are projected to pay it for the 22-23 season. 

Sources have "strongly discounted" any potential interest from the Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers in trading for Kyrie Irving.

Irving reportedly has had the Mavericks and Sixers on his list of preferred teams.

The Los Angeles Lakers are widely considered the team with the most interest in acquiring Irving, who is on an expiring contract.

The Dallas Mavericks have agreed to sign Jaden Hardy to a multi-year deal.

The Mavericks withheld a portion of its taxpayer mid-level exception in order to sign Hardy.

The Mavericks selected Hardy with the No. 37 pick in the draft after he played for the G League Ignite. 

Hardy came into the 21-22 season as a projected lottery pick.

The Dallas Mavericks are expected to retain Frank Ntilikina for next season, sources told Marc Stein.

Ntilikina's contract for $2 million becomes guaranteed on July 4.

Ntilikina averaged 4.1 points last season. 

Theo Pinson and the Dallas Mavericks have agreed to a one-year deal.

Pinson was widely expected to remain with the Mavericks as he was one of their more spirited locker room guys during their run to the Western Conference Finals.
