Today is the day Denver Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe has to decide whether or not to pick up Rodney White's option.
He said he will decide right before the deadline but trading him is not out of the question either.
"I guess (a trade is) a possibility, but it's not a probability," Vandeweghe said Thursday before the Nuggets lost 102-85 to Houston at the Toyota Center. "I don't have anything out there. I'll tell you, right now, nothing is going on. But it's a possibility, I guess."

"The Nuggets must trim their roster from 17 to a maximum 15 players by 4 p.m. today. Guard Jeff Trepagnier and forward-center Chris Andersen are expected to make the team. Guard Vincent Yarbrough is likely to be cut, and guard Junior Harrington or forward-center Mark Pope is expected to get the final roster spot. Assistant general manager David Fredman said the club is considering trades to keep from cutting players."
"(Nikoloz)Tskitishvili suffered a fractured left thumb Oct. 15 when Indiana Pacers forward Jeff Foster fouled him during a preseason game in Indianapolis. Tskitishvili missed a week of practice and the final five preseason games because of the injury on his nonshooting hand. But because the 7-foot-1, 245-pounder will be available Wednesday for the season opener against the San Antonio Spurs."
Nuggets forward Ryan Bowen has a reputation as a guy who hustles and shows a lot of heart on the court. But Friday night, Bowen and the Nuggets were more worried about his heart.
Bowen felt lightheaded when he stood up before the start of the fourth quarter in Friday's preseason finale against the Indiana Pacers. He knew his irregular heartbeat had returned.
"With (Chris) Andersen safe, four players - power forward Mark Pope, point guard Junior Harrington and shooting guards Jeff Trepagnier and Vincent Yarbrough - are battling for the final two spots. The Nuggets, who have 17 on the roster, must cut two by Monday."
Chris Andersen, Mark Pope, Junior Harrington, Jeff Trepagnier and Vincent Yarbrough are fightning for the final two spots on Denver's roster and could make cuts as early as tonight
"We'll get together with the coaches, get everybody on the same page," general manager Kiki Vandeweghe said. "They want to look at them (tonight), see how the team does. We have until Monday at 4 p.m., and we'll probably take all of it."
Sure, Anthony would like to play well for his Syracuse fans at the Carrier Dome after leading them to an NCAA championship this year. But Anthony also feels like he has something to prove to the Pistons, who opted to select Serbia & Montenegro forward-center Darko Milicic instead of him with the second pick in this year's draft.
Serbian F Ognjen A?krabi? will play for his team, Refleks (former FMP ?eleznik) one more year. In an interview to Beta agency, sports director of Refleks Ratko Radovanovi? said that "Askrabic is a player under contract, but we alowed him to go and try out for an NBA team. He satisfied coach Bzdelik and GM Vanderweghe, but they weren't able to guarantee 20-25 minutes per game that he asked for. As a result, he'll be with us one more year." Refleks coach Vlade ?urovi? weighed in: "Ognjen is our captain and our best player and it's unnecessary to say how much he means to this team."
A?krabi? himself wasn't available to comment, but his agent Dragan Deli? confirmed that Refleks and Denver have reached a deal according to which A?krabi? will remain in Belgrade one more year and will return to Colorado next summer.

Tskitishvili, who is right-handed, suffered the injury in the third quarter when he was inadvertently hit by Indiana forward Jeff Foster. While players are usually out about a month after fracturing a thumb, Nuggets trainer Jim Gillen said he didn't think Tskitishvili would be sidelined that long.
Barry did not join the Nuggets on their five-game preseason trip, because of a lingering cervical strain. He had an MRI on Wednesday, and the results should give an indication of his return. Barry has been bothered by the injury since the beginning of training camp.
