Nuggets Trade Joffrey Lauvergne To Thunder For Two 2nd Rounders

The Denver Nuggets have traded Joffrey Lauvergne to the Oklahoma City Thunder for two future second-round picks.

Lauvergne averaged 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in 17.6 minutes per game last season with a PER of 15.8.

Lauvergne, who turns 25 in September, also participated in the 2016 Olympics with France.

Nate Wolters Agrees To Deal With Nuggets

Nate Wolters has agreed to sign with the Denver Nuggets.

Wolters was the 38th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft out of South Dakota State.

Wolters last played in the NBA during the 14-15 season, playing in Japan last season in which he averaged 12.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game.

Wolters played for the Pacers and Wizards during Summer League this year.

Wilson Chandler Enjoying Adoption Of Vegan Diet

Wilson Chandler has adopted a vegan diet.

"At first it was an ‘I want to try something different type of thing’ and then I met this girl," said Chandler. "I wouldn’t call her a nutritionist, but she’s got some spiritual vibes, I guess. And we just started talking about things like health and spirituality and diseases and different herbalists and all different types of things. Once I learned more about it, it was easy to do.”

Chandler transitioned to a vegan diet by first going pescatarian. 

"Amazing feeling when done right," wrote Chandler recently on Twitter.

D.J. Kennedy, Nuggets Agree Upon Partially Guaranteed Three-Year Deal

D.J. Kennedy has agreed upon a partially guaranteed three-year deal with the Denver Nuggets.

Kennedy went undrafted out of St. John's in 2011 and has since largely played overseas.

Kennedy averaged 14.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 30.3 minutes per game last season for Enisey Krasnoyarsk.

The Denver Nuggets have signed guard Jamal Murray, forward Juancho Hernangomez and guard Malik Beasley to multi-year contracts.

Murray, 6-4, 207, was selected by the Denver Nuggets with the 7th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

The 19-year-old appeared in five games (all starts) for the Nuggets at the 2016 Summer League in Las Vegas, averaging 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 29.5 minutes per game.

Hernangomez, 6-9, 230, a native of Madrid, Spain, was selected with the 15th pick in the 2016 NBA draft. He appeared in five games (all starts) for the Nuggets at the 2016 Summer League, holding averages of 10.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 55% from the field. Hernangomez ranked fifth in rebounds among players that appeared in at least five games, while posting a double-double in two contests.

Hernangomez, played for Movistar Estudiantes of the Spanish ACB league in 2015-16. Appearing in 24 games, he averaged 9.8 points and 3.7 rebounds in 23.5 minutes.

Beasley, 6-5, 196, was drafted with the 19th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft. He did not participate in the 2016 Samsung NBA Summer League after recovering from a pre-existing injury. He appeared in 34 contests during the 2015-16 season with the Florida State Seminoles, averaging 15.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 29.8 minutes.
