The Detroit Pistons recalled Khyri Thomas from their Grand Rapids G League team.

Thomas has played in 2 games with the Pistons this season, last appearing on November 2nd.

Thomas is in his second season after getting picked in the second-round of the 2018 NBA Draft.

The Detroit Pistons rebuffed interest from the Los Angeles Lakers in trading for Derrick Rose. The Lakers have been seeking a perimeter scorer to round out their roster.

"No, there's no chance," said Brian Windhorst on The Hoop Collective Podcast in reply to a question on whether the Pistons might negotiate a buyout with Rose. "He's under contract for next year at a good number. From what I understand, when the Lakers called the Pistons and expressed an interest in trading for Derrick Rose, the Pistons said 'hey, we appreciate you calling, but we're not trading him. Dwane Casey likes him. We think he's going to be important for us next year.' He just wasn't available."

Rose signed a two-year, $15 million deal with the Pistons this past offseason. 

The Detroit Pistons will sign Donta Hall to a 10-day contract.

Hall is averaging 15.4 points and 10.5 rebounds per game for Grand Rapids in the G League.

Markieff Morris plans to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers after he clears waivers.

Morris and the Detroit Pistons agreed to a buyout on Friday.

Morris signed a two-year, $7.4 million deal with the Pistons in the offseason.

The Lakers had interest in trading for Marcus Morris at the deadline. 

Markieff Morris has agreed to a buyout with the Detroit Pistons.

Morris is averaging 11.1 points, .39 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 22.5 minutes over 44 games this season with the Pistons.

Morris signed a two-year, $7.4 million deal with the Pistons this past offseason. 

The Los Angeles Lakers are the frontrunner to sign Morris while the Toronto Raptors have also expressed interest.

The Detroit Pistons will sign Derrick Walton Jr. to a 10-day contract.

Walton has appeared in 23 games with the Los Angeles Clippers this season.

The Atlanta Hawks acquired Walton from the Clippers before the trade deadline and then placed on waivers.

Andre Drummond joined the Cleveland Cavaliers shortly after the trade deadline, but he told teammates that the situation was worse than it was with the Detroit Pistons, according to one source.

Drummond also said that it would factor into his $29 million player option decision for the 20-21 season.

The Cavaliers and John Beilein parted ways shortly after the All-Star break.

Reggie Jackson has agreed to a buyout with the Detroit Pistons and plans to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers once he clears waivers.

The Los Angeles Lakers also had interest in signing Jackson.

Jackson signed a five-year, $80 million contract with the Pistons in 2015.

Jackson is a longtime friend of Paul George and had long hoped to play with him.

Frazier signed a one-year, $2.1 million deal with the Pistons in the offseason.
