The future of Saddiq Bey with the Detroit Pistons is a bit less certain than it was previously. Bey will be eligible for an extension this offseason ahead of a potential restricted free agency in 2024.

The Pistons have taken early trade calls from inquiring teams on Bey, which is a change of behavior from previous trade windows.

The Pistons, however, seem intent on continuing to evaluate Bey's fit with the roster before truly entertaining a potential trade.

Cade Cunningham has missed the Detroit Pistons last five games due to left shin soreness. The issue is now considered serious enough that Detroit is trying to determine if Cunningham needs surgery.

Cunningham was injured in a game at the Boston Celtics on November 9. He exited that contest after playing just 24 minutes. Cunningham has yet to practice of play since being hurt during that loss at Boston.

The second-year playmaker had gotten off to a strong start this season. Cunningham has averaged 19.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists for the Pistons.

Detroit has turned to starting Killian Hayes while Cunningham has been sidelined. The Pistons fell to 3-14 on the season after a loss at the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Detroit Pistons are among the teams interested in signing Miles Bridges pending the league's investigation into his felony domestic violence plea.

Bridges pled no contest to the domestic violence charge stemming from a June incident in November. The NBA is considered likely to suspend Bridges for the incident.

Bridges remains a restricted free agent with the Charlotte Hornets despite his $7.9 million qualifying offer expiring.

Bridges was one of the NBA's most sought after free agents before the domestic violence incident.

Isaiah Stewart is set to be re-evaluated in the next 2-3 weeks due to a sprained right toe.

Stewart suffered the injury during Monday night's loss against the Raptors.

Stewart is averaging 12 points and 9.3 rebounds per game on the season. 

On the latest episode of his "Don't Aggregate This" podcast, Jake Fisher of Yahoo Sports talked the Detroit Pistons. One of the items was the trade possibilities surrounding Bojan Bogdanovic, despite his recent extension with Detroit.

One of the teams mentioned as still having interest in Bogdanovic was the Los Angeles Lakers. LA had talked about a Bogdanovic trade during the offseason, before he was dealt from the Utah Jazz to the Pistons. Fischer also mentioned the Phoenix Suns as a potential suitor for Bogdanovic.

Shortly before the season began, Bogandovic signed a two-year, $39 million extension with the Pistons. The second season of that extension is only partially guaranteed for $2 million, effectively make this a one-year, $22 million extension. Because Bogdanovic got only a slight raise, and extended for only two years, he remains immediately trade-eligible.

Detroit Pistons second-year player Cade Cunningham will miss at least one week due to left shin soreness. Cunningham will miss at least five total games due to the injury.

Cunningham was injured in a loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Cunningham, then missed Detroit's loss to the New York Knicks. He'll now also miss home games against the Celtics and Toronto Raptors, in addition to the start of a west coast trip at the LA Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers.
