Marc Stein of ESPN.com is reporting that Raja Bell will not seek a buyout from the Warriors.
Bell had wrist surgery in early December, but is on course to make his comeback next month.
He told Stein that he is not pursuing a buyout, which would have to be completed before March 1 for him to be eligible for the playoffs with a new team.
"I'm fully prepared to play here," Bell said last Friday.
Andris Biedrins is having a frustrating season and Don Nelson is attempting to save him psychologically.
"I've bent over backwards with (Biedrins) trying to be positive," Nelson said after Wednesday's practice. "Whatever he's going through, he's not the same player this year as the last couple - or the same player that got him the big contract. Whatever it is, he's got to get the passion back. I can't do that."
Biedrins admitted he's still lacking confidence following the groin/abdomen injury that shelved him for seven weeks. Nelson played him just nine minutes in Tuesday's loss to Philadelphia, saying afterward he "didn't see any life" from the struggling center.
"I wouldn't say life," Biedrins said. "I think I played hard. It just wasn't my day. I missed a couple easy layups, got into foul trouble and made some turnovers, and the coach took me out of the game."
Warriors general manager Larry Riley told season ticket holders recently that coach Don Nelson will return next season.
Riley said that Nelson will get the chance to break Golden State's all-time wins record. He needs eight victories to do so.
"He has not lost the ability to coach or forgotten how to put teams together as far as strategy and using lineups," Riley said on a conference call. "He's going to get the record, but, if it wasn't for that, I'd still like him as a coach.
"I like the style of play that we use, and it's important that we continue to go forward with that style of play. He's the guy to coach it."
Warriors forward Corey Maggette will miss the next eight games with a strained left hamstring.
Maggette has played through a variety of injuries this season, but has missed four of the past nine games.
He went to Los Angeles on Sunday to get a platelet-rich plasma shot.
The treatment usually takes two or three injections, with six to eight weeks between each shot. Maggette missed a month with hamstring injuries last season.
The Warriors rejected a proposed deal with Memphis that would have sent Monta Ellis to the Grizzlies for O.J. Mayo and Hasheem Thabeet, according to two separate sources.
Hamed Haddadi may or may not have been included in the deal as well.
?I don?t care about that,? Ellis said after Friday?s shootaround. ?I play basketball. Whatever decision they make upstairs is on them. I never looked at it. I heard about it, but I never worried about it.?
The Warriors elected not to trade Monta Ellis on Thursday, but GM Larry Riley admitted to having conversations discussing his name.
Riley heard from the Grizzlies in regards to an O.J. Mayo for Ellis trade.
"There were conversations along those lines, and we never felt comfortable enough to go there," said Riley, adding other teams also called about Ellis. "Just a few. Not an avalanche. I think some of that was due to me saying we weren't going to trade him, and that deterred a few people.
"But the reality is, even if people read that, they'll call you if they're interested. I'm very comfortable with Monta Ellis on our basketball team going forward and finishing this year with him on the floor as an integral part of what we're doing."
Riley was asked about next season.
"I would think he'd be with us next year, but we'll evaluate everything after the season," said Riley.
League sources said teams have shown interest in Monta Ellis, Corey Maggette, Andris Biedrins and Anthony Randolph, but Golden State general manager Larry Riley said he doesn't foresee making a trade on Thursday.
"We've spent quite a bit of time with everything we could look at, but I don't have anything that I expect to happen," Riley said. "I believe that most of the deals that get done will be of the cap nature, and if we do anything, that would very likely be the direction it would go."
The Golden State Warriors have reportedly rejected an offer for Monta Ellis from Memphis that would have included O.J. Mayo and salary cap filler, according to multiple sources.
Marcus Thompson of the Contra Costa Times reports that the deal was not discussed recently.
Golden State is having a difficult time advancing trade talks because other teams are hoping to receive their 2010 first round pick.
The Warriors are said to be in trade discussions involving Corey Maggette and Cleveland?s Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
