The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to sign Yogi Ferrell for the remainder of the season.

The Clippers will also have Ferrell under a non-guaranteed contract for 21-22.

Ferrell has appeared in three games for the Clippers, averaging 4.7 points and 3.3 assists in 9.7 minutes. 

A 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection RPA (Rookie Patch Autograph) parallel LeBron James card sold to a private collector for $5.2 million, becoming the most expensive basketball card in history.

The price broke the previous record of $4.6 million for a 2018-19 Panini National Treasures Luka Doncic Logoman RPA.

The $5.2 million price also tied the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card for the most expensive card in history. 

Jesse Craig, PWCC's director of business development, said that there are more expensive James cards out there should collectors decide to sell. 

"There are LeBron cards [still] out there, I would say, worth over $10 million. And let's be clear: There are three Mantle PSA 10s that, whenever they transact, will break every record there is. But as a market, there are so many desirable cards that haven't sold yet publicly."

The Los Angeles Clippers will sign DeMarcus Cousins for the remainder of the season.

Cousins has averaged 6.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 11.5 minutes over eight games with the Clippers on a pair of 10-day contract.

Cousins previously played in 25 games with the Houston Rockets this season. 

Kawhi Leonard will be out at least one week with right foot soreness.

Leonard has appeared in 46 games this season, averaging 25.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists.

Leonard will be a free agent in the offseason.

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed DeMarcus Cousins to a second 10-day contract.

Cousins has appeared in three games with the Clippers, averaging 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game.

Cousins began the 20-21 season with the Houston Rockets and was waived in February. 

The Los Angeles Clippers will likely extend DeMarcus Cousins on another 10-day contract.

“We look forward for him to continue on, he was big for us,” Tyronn Lue said after Wednesday’s win over Detroit and the expiration of Cousins’ first 10-day deal.

Cousins has appeared in three games with the Clippers, averaging 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game.

Paul George credited his recent scoring streak to a "breakthrough" in his mentality.

"The [toe] injury allowed me to kind of make an excuse for myself. But then I put it in perspective ... if I'm gonna play, then don't let it limit me."

"I feel like I've had a breakthrough because of that mindset," said George on Tuesday.

George has scored 30 or more points in four consecutive games, with the Clippers currently on a six-game win streak.

He is also shooting a career-high 47.7% from the field and 43.8% from the three-point line.

Marcus Morris also noted George's improvement.

"He's playing with a chip on his shoulder. He is making an emphasis of really taking over and being the best version of himself."

Paul George and Jayson Tatum have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for Week 16.

George averaged 33.7 points and 5.7 assists as the Los Angeles Clippers went 4-0.

Tatum averaged 31.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists as the Boston Celtics went 3-1.

Yogi Ferrell is set to sign a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Clippers next week, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Ferrell will sign the deal after he clears health and safety protocols. 

Patrick Beverley will be out at least three to four weeks after undergoing surgery on his left hand.

Beverley suffered a fracture of the fourth metacarpal bone in his left hand.

Beverley reportedly suffered the fracture while pursuing a rebound in the fourth quarter of the game.
