The Milwaukee Bucks have signed guard Isaiah Canaan to a 10-day contract.
Canaan, 27, has played in 26 games (16 starts) with both Phoenix and Minnesota this season, appearing most recently in seven games with the Timberwolves while on two 10-day contracts. The 6-foot guard is averaging 6.7 points, 3.1 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 23.0 minutes per game this season.
The NBA's Last Two Minute Report for the Milwaukee Bucks' 98-97 win over the Boston Celtics revealed 5 blown calls in the final 3.7 seconds of the game.
2 calls went against the Bucks, while the other 3 went against the Celtics.
The report determined that Kyrie Irving was fouled by both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Eric Bledsoe on the Celtics' final possession that resulted in a missed shot at the buzzer, both of which were not called.
The Oklahoma City Thunder were "especially interested" in drafting Khris Middleton at the 2012 NBA Draft.
The Thunder instead selected Perry Jones III at No. 28 with Middleton going 39th overall to the Detroit Pistons.
Oklahoma City traded away James Harden several months later.
Kevin Garnett says he wants to see Giannis Antetokounmpo add a pull up jumper to his game.
"The one-dribble and two-dribble pull up. That’s what made Kobe [Bryant] and Michael [Jordan] so tough. They would low dribble, jab step and shoot. That was such a hard move to defend. The one-dribble pull up? You don’t even understand how technical of a move that is...the three ball will help his game, and if he ever gets that one-dribble, two-dribble pull up, that would be unbelievable," said Garnett when asked what Antetokounmpo could do to improve his game.
Garnett added that Antetokounmpo's competitive nature was honed playing alongside the previous generation.
"When Giannis first came into the league, he was facing guys like myself, Kobe and Tim Duncan. We were still in the league when he came in. He was not only able to interact but also get some of those yesteryear gems and glimpses from us. He was super competitive when he first came into the league...he’s very intense. I understood that. We connected off that. He’s a great listener. A total sponge. He wants to be the best. He doesn’t care about being liked, about making friends. He has a vision for himself."
Giannis Antetokounmpo will suit up for Greece in the FIBA World Championships this summer.
The 32-team tournament begins in China on August 31st.
Greece has already qualified for the tournament.
The Toronto Raptors were interested in trading for Nikola Mirotic from the New Orleans Pelicans at the trade deadline.
The Raptors and Pelicans worked together on a three-way trade that would have sent Delon Wright to the Orlando Magic.
The Pelicans instead traded Mirotic to the Milwaukee Bucks, which led the Raptors to pivot to their acquisition of Marc Gasol instead.

Marc Lasry has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for comments he made on Anthony Davis.
Lasry is one of the co-owners of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Davis listed the Bucks as one of the teams he would have interest in signing with long-term.
"I saw that report, and I think it's great," Lasry told Sporting News. "It's a little bit of what we want. We want players to come and play in Milwaukee. And part of it is, when you're winning and you're setting a standard for excellence, people see that. People want to win."
He continued: "We hope it would be players like Anthony Davis and others who want to come to Milwaukee."
The Milwaukee Bucks were on the preferred list of teams Anthony Davis would like to be traded to by the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Philadelphia 76ers and New Orleans Pelicans discussed the framework of a Markelle Fultz for Nikola Mirotic deal before the Tobias Harris trade.
Mirotic was eventually traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, while Fultz was traded by the 76ers to the Orlando Magic for Jonathon Simmons and a future first round pick.
The 76ers traded away two first round picks in the deal for Harris.
