Jeff Teague has agreed to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Teague was traded by the Boston Celtics to the Orlando Magic at the deadline and subsequently waived.

Teague previously played for Mike Budenholzer with the Atlanta Hawks.

The Oklahoma City Thunder waived Austin Rivers, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The Bucks are reportedly in the lead to sign Rivers once he clears waivers, with mutual interest on both sides. 

Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been named the NBA's Players of the Week for Week 13.

Jokic averaged 26.8 points, 12.3 rebounds and 8.5 assists as the Denver Nuggets went 3-1.

Antetokounmpo averaged 29.7 points, 12.7 rebounds and 10.0 assists as the Milwaukee Bucks went 3-0.

Giannis Antetokounmpo said he liked how the Milwaukee Bucks were going under the radar following their 120-113 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.

It the team's 11th win in their last 12 games.

"I kind of like to be under the radar and we just come in, enjoy one another, enjoy playing basketball and we're just getting the job done. But, yeah, there's gonna be times they're gonna talk about us, there's gonna be times they're not gonna talk about us, but personally, as I said, I just like being under the radar," said Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo had 26 points and 15 assists in the game.

The game also featured P.J. Tucker's debut with the team. Tucker went scoreless, but added three rebounds and a block.

"You can hear him even when he's on the bench, but out there on the court it's really fun. You love a guy that communicates in that way. He's loud, very clear and distinctive and makes the game a lot easier," said Jrue Holiday of Tucker's presence. 

P.J. Tucker is set to make his Milwaukee Bucks debut on Saturday, according to Mike Budenholzer.

The 35-year-old Tucker described his excitement of joining the Bucks, setting the bar at winning a title.

"My main goal is to win a championship. That's easy. That's the only reason I'm here. I feel like we've got a chance to win a championship and do something special," said Tucker.

Tucker, who hasn't played since March 3rd, said that he was rejuvenated by the trade.

"Man, you have no idea. It's gave me that boost and 15 years in, you look for anything."

The Houston Rockets had a tense team meeting following a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 12th when it was decided James Harden would stay away from the team until a trade was consummated.

Sources tell Kelly Iko and Sam Amick that P.J. Tucker came away from the meeting with the belief he would be included in any Harden trade, whether it was to the Brooklyn Nets or Philadelphia 76ers.

Tucker was ultimately not included and spent two more months with the Rockets before he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Tucker also became open to a buyout in late February, which would have given him the freedom to choose his destination. The Rockets, however, had no interest in negotiating a buyout as they sought a trade.

Isaiah Thomas continues to seek a return to the NBA.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks are two teams with interest in potentially signing Thomas.

Thomas spent last season with the Washington Wizards but was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers at the deadline and subsequently waived.

The Houston Rockets felt they were close to signing P.J. Tucker to a two-year extension.

The Rockets offered a two-year, $17 million extension with $10 million guaranteed. Tucker's camp, however, countered with a fully guaranteed two-year deal worth $24 million.

Tucker often acknowledged he's felt underappreciated by the Rockets. 

The Rockets traded Tucker to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. 

The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to acquire P.J. Tucker from the Houston Rockets.

The package going to the Bucks includes Tucker, Rodions Kurucs and Milwaukee's 2022 first round pick for DJ August, DJ Wilson and a 2023 unprotected first round pick.

The Rockets also get the right to swap its second round pick for Milwaukee's first round pick unless it falls 1-9.

The Bucks will also trade Torrey Craig to the Phoenix Suns.

The Rockets now likely own three first round picks in the 2021 draft.

The Houston Rockets continue to seek a trade of P.J. Tucker ahead of the deadline.

Tucker is on an expiring contract and is unlikely to remain with the Rockets next season.

The Milwaukee Bucks, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers remain engaged with the Rockets on a Tucker trade. Houston has set a strong price, however, seeking a young talented player for Tucker.

The Brooklyn Nets were interested in Tucker, which would have required the team sending out Spencer Dinwiddie, but they are no longer in the market for the veteran.
