Giannis Antetokounmpo has four seasons remaining on a five-year, $228 million extension with the Milwaukee Bucks he signed before leading the team to the 2021 championship and has generally signaled a strong commitment to the franchise.

In promoting his new ambassadorship with the telehealth company Antidote Health, Antetokounmpo was asked by Fox 32 Chicago about the potential of playing for the Bulls in the future. And while reiterating his commitment to the Bucks, Antetokounmpo said he would be open to the idea of one day playing for his rival down in Chicago.

"I think anybody you ask that question that plays basketball, if he said no, he'd be a liar," Antetokounmpo said in the interview with Fox 32 Chicago. "It's a team that won multiple championships; it's a team that one of the greatest players, if not the greatest player to ever play this game, played for. So it's a no-brainer; everybody would love to play for Chicago."

The Bucks eliminated the Bulls in the first round of the playoffs.

"Down the line, you never know. You never know how life brings it, maybe I play for Chicago," Antetokounmpo said. "But right now I'm committed to Milwaukee."

Christmas Day is one of the marquee dates on the NBA calendar. The 2022 Christmas Day slate will reportedly feature eight 2022 playoff teams. The games schedule for the Christmas quintuple-header are:

The Milwaukee Bucks waived Rayjon Tucker on Tuesday.

Tucker averaged 1.7 points in 6.1 minutes over two regular season games and eight playoff games last season. 

The Milwaukee Bucks are adding DeMarre Carroll to Mike Budenholzer's coaching staff. Carroll previously played for Budenholzer with the Atlanta Hawks from 2013 to 2015.

Carroll last played in the NBA during the 2019-20 season, as he split the year between the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets. Overall, Carroll played in the NBA for 11 years after being the 27th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
