Anthony Tolliver expects to sign with the Warriors or Timberwolves.

"I haven't made a decision yet," Tolliver said, "but we're getting there and I hope to have a decision soon.

"Once they have their final (financial) figure and years guaranteed, that's when I plan on making my decision --unless somebody comes in late," he added.

Tolliver said the Warriors' initial contract offers were "really low. I was disappointed."

The Warriors have since improved their offer to Tolliver.

The Celtics could take a look at Delonte West, who is expected to be waived by the Timberwolves after they acquired him in a trade with the Cavaliers on Monday night, according to a source.

Boston is looking for a perimeter defender after Tony Allen departed for Memphis as a free agent.

Timberwolves point guard Jonny Flynn has undergone surgery on his left hip as expected.

Flynn initially suffered the injury in the second-to-last game of the regular season and aggravated it while working out prior to the Summer League.

Minnesota says he underwent surgery in Colorado on Tuesday.

The team hasn't released an official timetable, but he's expected to miss three-to-four months of action.

The Timberwolves are expected to either trade or buyout the contract of guard Sebastian Telfair.

Minnesota acquired the contracts of Delonte West and Telfair on Monday night in a deal that sent Ramon Sessions, Ryan Hollins and a 2013 second-round pick to Cleveland.

Telfair is owed $2.7 million in the final season of a three-year deal that he originally signed with the Timberwolves two years ago.

Timberwolves point guard Jonny Flynn is expected to miss 3-4 months of action after he undergoes hip surgery next week, according to sources.

Flynn missed the Summer League in Las Vegas earlier this month.

The Cavaliers have acquired guard Ramon Sessions, center Ryan Hollins and Minnesota's second round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft from the Timberwolves in exchange for guards Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair, Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant announced Monday.

"In Ramon, we're excited to add a young, multi-dimensional guard, and with Ryan, we're adding a young, athletic center. We think both Ramon and Ryan are really good fits for this team. We're also happy to add another asset for the future with the additional draft pick," said Grant. "At the same time, we'd like to thank Sebastian and Delonte and wish them well in the future."

The Cavaliers have landed point guard Ramon Sessions from the Timberwolves, according to Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Cleveland will send Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair to Minnesota for Sessions, Ryan Hollins and a 2013 second round pick.

There have been reports that the Timberwolves have only acquired "the contracts" of West and Telfair.

After winning just 15 games in Minnesota last season, Al Jefferson is excited about his recent trade to Utah.

"They have a nice group of guys, but will have a couple more losing seasons," Jefferson said of the Timberwolves.

"Minneapolis is my home away from home. I respect the fans that have supported me through the good and the bad ... but when I told people I played for Minnesota, some people didn't even know they had a team. Everybody knows about Utah. Everyone knows the Utah Jazz.

"I go from being in a Toyota to a Bentley. It's a beautiful thing."

The Jazz acquired Jefferson from the Timberwolves for two first-round picks and young center Kostas Koufos.

Utah needed to make a move after losing Carlos Boozer to Chicago in free agency.

The Cavaliers have engaged in advanced talks with the Timberwolves about point guard Ramon Sessions, according to league sources.

Minnesota recently signed Luke Ridnour, giving them a trio of point guards that includes Sessions and Jonny Flynn.

Cleveland has been aggressively looking to deal Delonte West, who could be included in a potential trade for Sessions.
