Brandon Roy has had six surgeries on his knees, but he underwent Regenokine therapy in 2011 and believes that will revive his career.
"I want to come in and make an impact right away," Roy said. "I want to be ready to deliver. A lot of people think I'm going to be limited. I tell them, 'Go ahead and think that way.' I'm not cautious about anything. I'm confident everything will go well."
Roy is working with Timberwolves player development coach Shawn Respert and a handful of teammates, including Nikola Pekovic, Malcolm Lee and Chase Budinger.
"I've had no setbacks," Roy said. "There's nothing stopping me from getting back to my old game. It just takes work and getting my rhythm back."

Ricky Rubio is hopeful of a return to action before the end of the year.

"I'm eager to start running, and I think in December I would be ready to play," Rubio said.
Rubio expressed optimism in his first media appearance after the surgery.
"You always have to think about everything, but you just have to keep the right (thoughts)," he said in April. "Because if not, you can think, ‘I got hurt. I'm going to be out for six, nine months, and maybe I'm not going to be the player that I was before.' That's not the right thing. It can be. But it can be that you are better than you were."
