Jimmy Butler could return from his knee injury before the end of the regular season.

Butler spoke to reporters for the first time since suffering a meniscus injury on Feb. 23.

Butler confirmed an initial recovery estimate of four to six weeks.

Butler told reporters he's confident he will heal in time to return for the regular season and playoffs.

Derrick Rose has agreed to sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the remainder of the season.

Rose was waived by the Jazz after the trade deadline.

The Wolves already have Jeff Teague and Tyus Jones on their depth chart at point guard.

Rose will reunite with Tom Thibodeau, who coached him for several seasons with the Bulls.

According to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, Rose was waiting until his wife gave birth to his baby before signing with a team. Rose was married during an extended leave from the Cavaliers earlier this season.

Shabazz Muhammad has agreed upon a buyout with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Muhammad agreed upon a one-year, $1.6 million deal with the Wolves late in free agency after he received tepid interest.

Muhammad has appeared in just 32 games this season and is averaging 9.4 minutes.
