The Orlando Magic have agreed to sign Amile Jefferson to a two-way deal.

Jefferson finished last season on a two-way deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Jimmy Butler has undergone a successful right hand procedure.

The Minnesota Timberwolves described the procedure as elective.

Butler has already returned to offseason activities. 

Karl-Anthony Towns hosted a basketball camp on Wednesday and was asked if Minnesota still feels like his second home.

“I think I’ve done a lot of things here. I’m very proud of the things I’ve been able to do so far,” Towns said in response to the final question of the session about whether he considers Minnesota a second home. “But I have a lot of things that have to be talked about, so I’ll move on.”

Towns is eligible to sign a max contract extension this offseason, but his relationship with the Minnesota Timberwolves is uncertain.

There have been reports of issues between Towns and Tom Thibodeau.

The Toronto Raptors held expiatory discussions with the Minnesota Timberwolves during the 2017 offseason on a deal centered around DeMar DeRozan for Andrew Wiggins.

Wiggins ultimately signed a five-year extension with the Wolves.

DeRozan can become a free agent in 2020.

Jimmy Butler has officially rejected a four-year, $110 million contract extension offer from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Butler expressed gratitude for the offer, but he was always expected to turn down the extension.

Butler can earn up to a five-year, $190 million deal next summer with the Wolves or a four-year, $141 million deal with another team.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Karl-Anthony Towns are in the early stages of discussions on a max contract extension.

There is optimism throughout the organization that the two sides will eventually reach agreement.

Towns recently returned to the United States after a vacation in Italy and there's hope talks will advance more quickly. 

Towns wasn’t ready to address the situation in an interview with The Athletic from Italy last week.

Towns could agree upon a five-year, $158 million extension that increases to $190 million if he makes an All-NBA team again next season.

Jimmy Butler could become a free agent next summer and would be eligible to sign a five-year, $180 million contract with the Wolves.

Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler are still trying to figure out a way to play together, according to a source.

The two were connected last offseason when both were on the trade block. Butler was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on draft night and Irving was moved to the Boston Celtics in August. Irving had interest in joining Butler with the Bulls.

A source says Butler has no interested in signing an extension this summer with the Wolves and is fed up with the nonchalant attitude of younger teammates, especially Karl-Anthony Towns.

Both Irving and Butler will be free agents in 2019.

Zach Lowe later also reported Irving and Butler would like to play together, according to sources.

The Philadelphia 76ers have expressed interest in signing Jamal Crawford.

Crawford has also been linked with the Golden State Warriors.

Despite being 38 years old, Crawford is one of the best individual scorers on the open market.

Crawford declined his $4.5 million option with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Anthony Tolliver has agreed to sign a one-year $6 million deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Tolliver played with the Wolves early in his career.

Tolliver spent last season with the Detroit Pistons.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have withdrawn their qualifying offer on Nemanja Bjelica.

Bjelica was initially a restricted free agent this offseason.
