The New Orleans Pelicans have signed Sindarius Thornwell to a 10-day contract.

Thornwell, 6-4, 215, has previously appeared in 11 games (one start) this season with New Orleans, averaging 1.4 points in 4.8 minutes per contest.

New Orleans’ roster now stands at 16 players.

Zion Williamson was voted onto the All-Star team as a reserve and was noncommittal either way when asked if he might participate in the Slam Dunk contest.

“You know what, I don’t even know," said Williamson. "Who knows? That’s all I can say. Who knows? I might. You never know. But who knows?”

The Chicago Bulls have shown interest in trading for Lonzo Ball, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The Bulls and the Pelicans have yet to engage in trade talks.

Ball is currently averaging 13.4 points, 4.7 assists, and 4.5 rebounds this season. 

The Pelicans are reportedly willing to discuss trades involving Ball and J.J. Redick. 

BetOnline has published odds for which team Bradley Beal will play for next if he's traded before the deadline on March 25th with the New Orleans Pelicans given the best odds at +250.

The Denver Nuggets (+300), Golden State Warriors (+350) and Dallas Mavericks (+400) round out the top-4.

The Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers are considered longer shots at +1000 and +1200, respectively, despite their reported interest in Beal.

Both Beal and the Washington Wizards have maintained that a trade is not desired currently.

The New Orleans Pelicans are reportedly interested in trading for Bradley Beal, with Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report calling the situation "one of the biggest open secrets around the league."

Several Pelicans players have been linked with recent trade rumors, with the Bulls and Warriors interested in Lonzo Ball.

JJ Redick has also been linked with the Celtics, Nets, and 76ers. 

The Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans have discussed a trade centered on Kelly Oubre Jr. for Lonzo Ball. The Chicago Bulls also have some level of interest in Ball.

The Warriors acquired Oubre from the Oklahoma City Thunder before the start of the season. Oubre will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.

Ball will be a restricted free agent in the offseason and has been inconsistent this season with the Pelicans.
