If Joakim Noah agrees upon a buyout from the New York Knicks before the deadline to become playoff eligible, he is expected to receive interest from a number of contending teams.
The Warriors, Timberwolves and Thunder are believed to have interest in signing Noah.
Minnesota would give Noah the opportunity to reunite with Tom Thibodeau.
Noah remains away from the Knicks following a January altercation at practice with Jeff Hornacek. Hornacek pushed Noah and Noah pushed him back before the two were separated.
Noah hasn’t addressed his status publicly since leaving.
Noah signed a four-year, $72 million deal with the Knicks in 2016 and he has two seasons remaining on the deal. It would benefit the Knicks to wait on parting ways with Noah unless he took a significant reduction off the contract.
Paul George received "We want Paul! We want Paul!" chants from the crowd in Los Angeles when he took the podium for All-Star media day.
George has been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers as he enters free agency this offseason.
"It makes you feel great,'' George said. "I love it. It's not to say that I don't. I felt the energy. I know where the love is.''
George grew up approximately 65 miles from Staples Center.
"It feels good to be welcome. I think anybody would want to be wanted and be welcomed,'' he said.
While a buyout for Joakim Noah with the New York Knicks is unlikely, he would receive interest from several teams if he becomes a free agent.
Both the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves would be expected to show interest in signing Noah.
Noah is due $18.53 million in 18-19 and $19.3 million in 19-20.
Noah has been away from the Knicks as they attempt to trade him following his altercation with Jeff Hornacek.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are believed to have strong interest in trading for Avery Bradley.
Bradley is available in trade talks by the Los Angeles Clippers as he's on an $8.8 million expiring contract.
The Thunder have a need on the wing following the season-ending injury to Andre Roberson.
Bradley has a history in effectively defending Stephen Curry and Chris Paul.
The Thunder have limited ways of acquiring Bradley as they can't trade a first round pick until 2022.
Paul George is about to move past the trade deadline with the Oklahoma City Thunder feeling very good about the franchise a few months before his free agency.
“This is a very savvy, smart organization,” George said of the Thunder. “They understand that they’re about winning, and some things take time. I don't think when they brought us together, it was something...(where) they thought this was going to be a team that was (winning) 60, 70 (games). I think they knew it was going to be an adjustment, us three coming together.
“I've never been on a team with this much starpower. I know Russ had KD, and Melo has been used to being by himself, so I think what it comes down to is they know this is a process and they're putting all their chips into us. They're confident, and we're confident, in this thing working out.”
George has connected well with Russell Westbrook.
“It feels great,” he said of the fit with Westbrook. “Even tonight (against the Warriors), we were just pushing each other. When I came out early, I'm like, 'Russ, man, take it further. Push it further.' And then when I checked back in, he came out, 'P, take it further, push it further.' So it's great. I think we're feeding off each other. We're both different types of players, and I think that's why this is working so well.
“I'm a catch and shoot (player), like to play off the ball, and he's so great at attacking and getting in the paint and making guys like myself, making it easy for me. I think that's the reason why it's working. We just play really well off one another.”
George is excited for Oklahoma City's playoff run before his free agency.
“Well, I mean I'm happy here,” George said. “I'm happy here. I'm happy with this group. At the end of the season, it's still on my decision on what I need to do for my family. That has nothing to do with my happiness here though. I've been really happy. It's a great organization to be a part of, but again, you know, I don't want people looking at this and (saying) like, 'Hey, because he said it's his happiness at the end of the day (that he’s definitely re-signing).
“I don't know if whether I'm going to LA, or what I'm going to do this offseason. But I can say I am happy about being here. I'm happy with playing with Russ, happy with playing with Melo, and this organization. This front office has shown what they can do to go get pieces and how active they are about winning.”

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been engaging in the trade market leading to the deadline with an emphasis on a wing addition.
The Thunder have been linked to Rodney Hood and Tony Allen.
Oklahoma City can't trade a first rounder until 2022 and would prefer not to deal Terrance Ferguson.
There is a growing expectation that the Thunder will make a move as there's a lot riding on the current season with the impending free agency of Paul George.
The Utah Jazz have received interest on Rodney Hood from the Thunder, Bulls and Pistons.
The Nuggets and Magic have shown a passing interest in Hood.
Hood will be a restricted free agent this offseason.
The Jazz would like a first round pick for Hood.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have expressed interest in trading for Avery Bradley.
Bradley was traded by the Detroit Pistons to the Los Angeles Clippers in the Blake Griffin deal this past week.
Bradley will be a free agent this offseason and isn't likely to fit into the Clippers' long-term plans.
The Thunder lost Andre Roberson for the season due to injury.
