The Orlando Magic have signed Aleem Ford and Zavier Simpson to camp deal.

Orlando training camp roster now stands at 20.

Markelle Fultz is out indefinitely after suffering a fractured left big toe.

Fultz missed most of the past two seasons because of a torn ACL suffered in January 2021. He missed nearly 14 months before returning to the Magic this past February and appeared in 18 games, averaging 10.8 points and 5.5 assists.

The Magic said Fultz has been placed in a walking boot but will not need surgery. 

The Orlando Magic have signed guard Joel Ayayi. This deal is likely set up to get Ayayi to the Lakeland Magic of the G League, as Lakeland recently acquired Ayayi's Returning Player rights via trade.

Ayayi spent most of his rookie season with the Washington Wizards on a Two-Way contract. He appeared in seven games for the Wizards before being waived in March.

The 6-foot-5 combo guard played in 29 games for the Capital City Go-Go of the G League. Ayayi averaged 10.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists for the Go-Go last season.

Gary Harris has undergone arthroscopic surgery to perform a meniscectomy in his left knee. His return to play will depend on how he responds to rehabilitation and treatment.

Harris (6’4”, 210, 9/14/94) played in 61 games (30 starts) last season with Orlando, averaging 11.1 ppg., 2.0 rpg. and 1.8 apg. in 28.4 minpg., while shooting .384 (116-302) from three-point range and .874 (83-95) from the free throw line.
