Blake Griffin has canceled his meetings with the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets in free agency.

Unless there is a wildcard team that enters the picture, there is a sense that Griffin will re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Blake Griffin will meet with the Phoenix Suns when free agency opens on Saturday.

The Suns can offer Griffin a four-year, $130 million contract.

While Griffin has battled injuries at various points of his career, the Suns are known for having one of the NBA's best training staffs.

The Los Angeles Clippers have expressed confidence that Griffin will re-sign with them in free agency. The Clippers can offer an extra guaranteed year.

Paul Millsap is unlikely to return to the Atlanta Hawks this offseason as they pivot towards a rebuild with Travis Schlenk as general manager. Schlenk has suggested multiple times in the media that they may not be able to offer a contract to Millsap that beats a rival team.

The Hawks and Millsap have mutual interest in a sign-and-trade scenario.

"I know sign-and-trade discussions have already happened involving Millsap and the Hawks," said Brian Windhorst on The Basketball Analogy podcast.

The Houston Rockets have interest in signing Millsap and a sign-and-trade deal would help facilitate a move since they are short on cap space at present. The Rockets have been searching for a Ryan Anderson trade, but teams are requesting two first round picks to take on his salary.

Millsap could still sign outright with a team such as the Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets or Minnesota Timberwolves.

John Gambadoro of 98.7 in Phoenix reports Millsap will meet with the Suns at the start of free agency.

Jared Dudley underwent a left toe ligament and bone procedure last Friday. The surgery was performed by Dr. David Porter at Methodist Sports Medicine in Indianapolis.

Dudley is expected to return to full basketball activity in approximately 3-4 months.

Dudley averaged 6.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 64 appearances in 2016-17, his 10th NBA season, sixth with the Suns and first in his second tenure with the team. Dudley ranks third in franchise history by shooting 41.2 percent from three-point range and seventh with 514 three-point makes.

The Phoenix Suns have tendered a qualifying offer to both Alex Len and Alan Williams.

Both Len and Williams will enter restricted free agency.

Len averaged 8.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 20.2 minutes per game last season. Len was the fifth overall pick out of Maryland in 2013.

Williams went undrafted in 2015 out of UC Santa Barbara. Williams averaged 7.4 points and 6.2 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game.

The Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls were engaged with the Phoenix Suns on Eric Bledsoe trade talks leading to the draft.

If the Suns pick De'Aaron Fox at No. 4, it likely means they were able to trade away Bledsoe.

Chris Haynes adds the talks with Denver would feature Emmanuel Mudiay and the No. 13 pick.

Josh Jackson is a more likely pick at No. 4 if Bledsoe is not dealt.

Bledsoe signed a five-year, $70 million contract with the Suns in 2014.

The New York Knicks have "so far" been unable to find a team willing to meet their asking price for Kristaps Porzingis.

Phil Jackson admitted in an interview on the eve of the draft that the Knicks are entertaining offers for Porzingis.

The Boston Celtics are one of the teams engaged with the Knicks on Porzingis as the Knicks attempt to trade into the top-4.

Both David Aldridge and Sam Amick refute a report that the Phoenix Suns are closing in on a deal for Porzingis.

According to Marc Stein at 2:11 PM EST, the Celtics are still working to put together a trade package for Porzingis.

The Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks have discussed a Kristaps Porzingis trade, but talks haven't gained traction due to Ryan McDonough's refusal to part with Devin Booker.

Booker averaged 22.1 points per game in his second season though his True Shooting Percentage dropped to .531. Booker scored 70 points in a loss to the Boston Celtics in March, which further cemented his standing within the Suns' organization.

Booker won't turn 21 until the end of October as he was one of the youngest players of the 2015 draft class.

The Knicks continue to consider trading away Porzingis, focusing on teams at the top of Thursday's draft.

The New York have discussed Kristaps Porzingis trade scenarios with each of the teams in the top-5 of the lottery as well as the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings comprise the top-5.

The Suns have had recent conversations with the Knicks on Porzingis, while New York has also had substantive talks with at least two other teams.

The Knicks would like to target Josh Jackson if they do move up.

Phil Jackson expressed in an MSG interview that he's still disappointed that Porzingis skipping his exit meeting.

"I don't think I've ever had a player over 25 years of coaching not coming to an exit meeting, so it hasn't happened to me,'' Jackson said. "It happens to other people and other players. His brother and his agent have downplayed it, but still it's a chance for a person to express themselves. I had a real good relationship with Kristaps over the last two years. It was kind of surprising.''

In 2004, Shaquille O'Neal skipped his exit meeting with the Jackson-coached Lakers.

The Phoenix Suns are attempting to trade Eric Bledsoe in any package they discuss with rival teams leading up to the draft.

Bledsoe has two seasons and $29 million remaining on his contract.

Phoenix has held trade talks with the Chicago Bulls on Jimmy Butler, as well as the Indiana Pacers on Paul George and the New York Knicks on Kristaps Porzingis.

The Suns own the No. 4 overall pick in the draft.
