Chris Paul Has Continued Offseason Training Through End Of Finals For Years

Dec 21, 2021 1:58 PM

For years, Chris Paul had a secret offseason ritual in which he would continue working out even after his team was eliminated from the playoffs until the end of The Finals. Paul would only then allow himself any downtime to rest before ramping back up for the next season.

Paul thought it would be a way to prepare his body and mind for a Finals run he hoped would someday happen.

The extended workout season Paul would endure sometimes took place under the umbrella of Creative Arts Agency, which represents Paul and also organizes springtime workouts for incoming draft prospects. Paul's workouts allowed him to get to know future teammate Devin Booker, beginning in 2015.

Former Employees Of Suns Released From NDAs To Fully Cooperate With Investigation

Dec 10, 2021 3:42 PM

Former employees of the Phoenix Suns who had signed nondisclosure agreements have begun scheduling and participating in interviews with the lawyers leading the NBA's investigation into the team.

Those who signed NDAs will not be fully released moving forward, the former employees said, and are being released only for the purpose of participating in the investigation.

In addition to general biographical information, the lawyers have primarily focused their questioning on racially inappropriate or misogynistic behavior from Robert Sarver, current and former employees said.

ESPN's report published in November detailed allegations of racism and misogyny in a sometimes hostile workplace during the tenure of Sarver.
