The Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to acquire Norman Powell from the Toronto Raptors for Gary Trent and Rodney Hood.

Powell is on an expiring contract and is having a career season.

Trent will be a restricted free agent.

The Blazers re-signed Hood on a two-year, $21 million deal in the offseason.

The Portland Trail Blazers have accounted that 12 players received their first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

The vaccines became available via an excess supply from the Confederated Tribes of Grand Rond.

"Our organization and players encourage everyone to get the COVID-19 vaccine," wrote the Blazers in a statement. "As vaccination efforts continue to ramp up, we will continue to use our platform via public service announcements (PSA) and other messaging to raise awareness on the safety, efficacy and importance of vaccination so our state and communities can come out of this awful pandemic as soon as possible."

The Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Portland Trail Blazers have all had trade talks with the Orlando Magic over Aaron Gordon.

The Magic are looking for a first-round pick and mix of young players for Gordon.

Gordon is averaging 14.8 points and 6.8 rebounds on the season. 

The Orlando Magic have received interest from a number of teams on a potential trade for Aaron Gordon.

The Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers and Minnesota Timberwolves have expressed interest, while the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets are also potential landing spots.

Orlando is seeking a young player or players and a draft pick for Gordon.

Gordon is shooting a career-high 36.8% from 3 on 4.1 attempts per game.

The Miami Heat are in discussions with the Oklahoma City Thunder on acquiring Trevor Arzia.

The Thunder are seeking a second round pick in exchange for Ariza.

There are a number of playoff contenders interested in trading for Ariza, who hasn't played at all this season.

CJ McCollum will return to the Portland Trail Blazers lineup on Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans.

McCollum has been out since January 16th due to a left foot fracture.

McCollum averaged 26.7 points to open the season. 

Jusuf Nukic is also set to return in approximately two weeks from a fractured wrist, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

The Orlando Magic are open to listening to trade offers for Aaron Gordon.

Gordon is signed through the 21-22 season.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Portland Trail Blazers are two of the teams to express interest in trading for Gordon.

Gordon returned from a severe ankle sprain after the All-Star break.

The Miami Heat, Portland Trail Blazers and Boston Celtics are expected to be the leading contenders to sign LaMarcus Aldridge if he becomes a free agent.

The San Antonio Spurs are exploring the trade market for Aldridge as he's played his final game for the franchise.

Aldridge is on a $24 million expiring contract.

CJ McCollum is looking to return from his broken left foot sometime next week, according to Jason Quick of The Athletic.

“If I was a betting man, I would bet on next week, but I can’t bet on sports,” McCollum told Quick on Sunday.

McCollum participated in his first on-court workout on Friday since suffering the injury on January 16th. 

The 29-year-old McCollum was averaging 26.7 points and 5.0 assists on the season. 

CJ McCollum was cleared for contact as he recovers from a fractured foot, president of basketball operations Neil Olshey said on Thursday.

The Blazers also added that Jusuf Nurkic continues to make progress on his fractured wrist.

Both players will be re-evaluated next week. 

The Blazers enter the All-Star break with a 21-14 record.
