Josh Howard is meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday and Tuesday, according to a source.

Howard met with the San Antonio Spurs last week.

The Minnesota Timberwolves also have expressed interest in Howard, who spent last season with the Jazz.

Derrick Brown has signed a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with the San Antonio Spurs.

Brown spent the 11-12 NBA season with the Charlotte Bobcats.

Brown was the 40th overall pick in 2009.

The San Antonio Spurs will reveal new alternative jerseys on Wednesday.

The Spurs will wear the new uniform in their home opener against the Thunder.

The San Antonio Spurs recently worked out Chamberlain Oguchi.

Oguchi is reportedly close to accepting a non-guaranteed deal with the Miami Heat.

Oguchi participated in the 2012 Olympics for Nigeria.

Taylor Jenkins has been promoted to head coach of the Austin Toros. Jenkins has served as an assistant coach with the Toros for the past four seasons.

“Taylor has been an integral part of the Toros success over the past four years,” SS&E President of Sport Franchises RC Buford said. “He’s a bright, young talent and knows our system very well which makes him the ideal person to lead the Toros.”

As an assistant coach with the Toros, Jenkins helped guide Austin to the 2012 NBA D-League Championship and the playoffs in 2009 and 2010. During his tenure with the Toros, Jenkins served as an assistant coach on the Spurs 2009 and 2012 Las Vegas NBA Summer League teams and was as an assistant coach with the NBA D-league Select Team during the 2010 Las Vegas NBA Summer League. He was also an assistant coach for the 2009 and 2012 NBA D-League West All-Star teams.

Tracy McGrady worked out for the San Antonio Spurs this week and will have another with the New York Knicks on Thursday.

McGrady is running out of options to secure a guaranteed contract.

McGrady may have to decide between a make-good training camp invite or a guaranteed deal overseas.

McGrady spent the 11-12 NBA season with the Atlanta Hawks.

The San Antonio Spurs will workout Kyrylo Fesenko.

Fesenko is also receiving interest from the Cavaliers, Hawks and Heat.

The San Antonio Spurs will workout Japeth Aguilar.

Aguilar is a former No. 1 draft pick of the Philippine Basketball Association.

Aguilar played collegiately at Western Kentucky for two seasons and is 6-9, 225 lb. forward.

Jason Kapono has been working out with the San Antonio Spurs.

Kapono remains unsigned after spending the 11-12 NBA season with the Lakers.

Manu Ginobili may continue playing for Argentina.

The next major national team event is the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain in 2014.

"I never said I would continue, and I never said I would quit," Ginobili said.

"There are still two years, it's a long time.

"I don't know how I will be and everything will depend on that.

"But I do know that I will be 37 and it's not the same at that age as another age."
