Gorgui Dieng is expected to sign with the San Antonio Spurs once he clears waivers, sources told Marc Stein of The New York Times.

Dieng picked the Spurs over the Knicks, Suns, Clippers, Sixers, Raptors, Heat and the Nets.

The Spurs also released Marquese Chriss to open a roster spot for Dieng, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic. 

Cam Reynolds agreed to a 10-day contract with the San Antonio Spurs.

Reynolds averaged 15.5 points in the G League bubble with the Austin Spurs.

The San Antonio Spurs and LaMarcus Aldridge have reached agreement on a contract buyout.

Shams Charania reported that Aldridge gave back $7.25 million with the buyout, while Adrian Wojnarowski countered that it was $5.8 million.

The San Antonio Spurs are exploring the trade market for Aldridge as he's played his final game for the franchise.

Aldridge is on a $24 million expiring contract.

Aldridge is earning $24 million in the final season of his contract. The Heat would have to send out at least about $19 million in salary to absorb Aldridge’s $24 million salary.
