Patrick McCaw is out for at least 3 weeks with a sprained thumb.

McCaw was injured in the first half of a Thursday night game against the Knicks.

McCaw is averaging 2.7 points in 13.2 minutes per game. 

Jodie Meeks has agreed to sign with the Toronto Raptors for the remainder of the season.

Meeks signed a 10-day contract with the Raptors on Feb. 20 and appeared in two games.

Paul George said he and Kawhi Leonard have talked about Leonard's free agency this summer, although George won't reveal what was said.

"That's between us," said George.

George, who was in a similar position to Leonard last season, decided to sign a 4-year deal with the Thunder. 

Leonard is averaging 27 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game this season.

The Toronto Raptors renamed their training facility OVO Athletic Centre in honor of their branding partnership with Drake.

The Raptors named Drake their "global ambassador" in 2013.

The Toronto Raptors have agreed to sign Eric Moreland to a 10-day contract.

Moreland gives the Raptors depth in the frontcourt with Serge Ibaka out three games with a suspension.

Moreland played for the Raptors in training camp.

Serge Ibaka has been suspended three games without pay, while Marquese Chriss has been suspended one game without pay for their involvement in a fight during Monday's game between the Raptors and the Cavaliers.

The incident occurred with 0:01 remaining in the third quarter of the Cavaliers’ 126-101 victory over the Raptors.

Ibaka’s suspension was based on his instigation of the physical altercation, throwing a punch at Chriss, and his prior history of fighting during NBA games.

Serge Ibaka and Marquese Chriss were ejected after trading punches during Cleveland Cavs' 126-101 win over the Toronto Raptors.

The confrontation occurred as the two jostled for position during an inbounds play with 1 second left in the 3rd quarter. After falling to the ground, Ibaka got up and wrapped his hands around Chriss' neck before throwing a punch. Chriss responded with a blow of his own.

Chriss had previously fouled Ibaka hard in the 2nd quarter of the game. Neither player were available for comment afterwards. 

When Kawhi Leonard sought a trade from the San Antonio Spurs last offseason, he had the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers on his list. The equation for Leonard, however, appeared to change once the Lakers signed LeBron James.

"I do not," said Michael C. Wright when asked if he believes Leonard would have interest in playing with James on the Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective Podcast. "That's just what I've been told. It's what I've been told going back to last summer. I don't see that as something that's happening.

"I think he goes to the Clippers."

Wright has consistently been one of the most reliable reporters in the NBA when it comes to news on Leonard.

The Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors will play two preseason games at the Saitama Super Arena just outside of Tokyo.

Scheduled for October 8th and 10th, it will be the first time a NBA team has played in Japan since 2003.
