Mehmet Okur wants to stay with the Jazz, but could still opt out of his contract.

Okur might sacrifice some money to remain in Utah, but the team will still have to give the center a substantial raise in order to retain him.

He wrote recently on his web site that he feels he is "one of the best 8-10 centers in the league."

Okur has until June 30 to decide whether or not to void the final year of his five-year deal, which would pay him $9 million next season.
