Joe Ingles has been fined $15,000 for making contact with the groin area of Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams.

The incident occurred with 8:53 remaining in the 3rd quarter of the Jazz’s 96-87 win over the Thunder on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Dante Exum has elected to undergo surgery to stabilize the AC joint of his left shoulder. The surgery is scheduled to take place Tuesday, October 24 in Los Angeles.

Exum suffered a separated left shoulder on October 6.

Exum appeared in 66 games (26 starts) last season for Utah, averaging a career-high 6.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 18.6 minutes per contest.

Dante Exum could miss the entire 17-18 season with a separated left shoulder.

Exum suffered the injury on a drive to the basket in Utah's preseason game on Friday.

After the game, Utah coach Quin Snyder said, "If you saw his shoulder, it didn't look good."

An MRI revealed a separated shoulder and ligament damage, and Jazz officials and doctors are conferring Saturday to discuss a plan of action on recovery and rehabilitation, league sources said.

Exum also missed the entire 15-16 season after suffering a torn ACL.

Exum will be a restricted free agent in 2018.
