Williams-Goss (6-3, 190, Gonzaga) was originally selected by Utah in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft (55th overall) and has spent the last two seasons overseas playing with KK Partizan of the ABA league in Serbia (2017-18) and with Olympiacos B.C. of the A1 League in Greece (2018-19).
Competing in 46 games (44 starts) in the Liga ABA, KLS, EuroCup and Serbian Cup with Partizan in 2017-18, Goss averaged 17.4 points on 50.4 percent from the field and 47.8 percent from beyond the arc, 7.0 assists, 3.5 boards and 1.3 steals in 30.8 minutes, helping the team to a 2018 Serbian Cup victory, while earning 2018 Serbian Cup MVP honors. In 2018-19 with Olympiacos, he appeared in 53 games (43 starts) in the EuroLeague and A1 League with averages of 10.1 points, shooting 42.3 percent shooting and 38.4 percent from three, along with 4.4 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 25.7 minutes.
When the Utah Jazz decided they would not retain Derrick Favors this offseason, he expressed a preference to end up with the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Jazz then worked to accommodate Favors, who had $16.9 million remaining on his deal.
New Orleans sent second round picks belonging to the Warriors in 2021 and 2023 to the Jazz.

Brantley (6-7, 250, Charleston) was originally drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft (50th overall) before being traded to Utah on draft night. Brantley appeared in two games during the Salt Lake City Summer League, averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 assists in 27.5 minutes.
Wright-Foreman (6-2, 190, Hofstra) was drafted by the Jazz in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft (53rd overall). He appeared in two games during the Salt Lake City Summer League, averaging 13.0 points, 3.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 rebounds, also competing in two games at the Las Vegas Summer League where he posted averages of 10.5 points, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
The Utah Jazz may make another move this offseason, league sources told Tony Jones of The Athletic.
The Jazz have added Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, Ed Davis, Jeff Green, and Emmanuel Mudiay this summer, addressing several key needs following a first-round playoff exit.
Sources also told The Athletic that BJ Armstrong, Mudiay's agent, directed Mudiay towards a team focused on player development. Mudiay signed a one-year deal with the Jazz.
