Robert Pera inquired about the possibility of relocating the Memphis Grizzlies last August, according to a report from Ronald Tillery.

Pera purchased the Grizzlies in 2012.

Pera primarily lives in Northern California.

The Grizzlies relocated from Vancouver after the 2000-01 season.

Ja Morant remains the clear frontrunner for Rookie of the Year, receiving all 70 votes from media members in a straw poll conducted by ESPN.

Morant is averaging 17.6 points and 6.9 assists per game.

Zion Williamson, who missed the first few months of the season, is averaging 23.6 points per game on 58.9 percent shooting. Williamson received 51 of the 70 second place votes along with 11 third place selections.

Kendrick Nunn finished third in the poll.

Jaren Jackson Jr. and Justise Winslow are expected to return to the Memphis Grizzlies' lineup within the week.

Jackson has been out since late February with a sprained knee.

Winslow has yet to play for the Grizzlies since getting traded due to a back injury.

Brandon Clarke is also expected to return to the team sometime this season following a quad injury.

Jontay Porter signed a multi-year deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Porter has rehabbed from two separate knee injuries, and is expected to be ready in time for training camp next season. 

The Memphis Grizzlies have waived Jordan Bell.

Bell signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves last offseason and was traded to the Grizzlies before the deadline as part of the Robert Covington deal. 

The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to sign Anthony Tolliver to a 10-day contract.

The Grizzlies are thin in the frontcourt due to injuries.

Tolliver recently agreed to a buyout with the Sacramento Kings.
