Kansas Basketball Set To Be Accused Of Major Violations By NCAA

Sep 22, 2019 1:01 PM

The NCAA will reportedly issue allegations of major violations against Kansas basketball, according to The Star.

The allegations surround a pay-for-play recruiting scheme that was investigated by the FBI involving schools associated with Adidas.

A former Adidas employee testified in federal court that he made payments of over $92,000 to the guardians of two Kansas recruits on behalf of the company.

N.C. State received a notice of allegations earlier this summer that included Level 1 violations, which could result in postseason bans and a loss of scholarships.
