Top-25 Prospect Zoom Diallo Commits To Washington

Top-25 prospect Zoom Diallo committed to the University of Washington over the weekend.

Diallo, ranked the No. 3 point guard in his class by ESPN, is the Huskies' highest rated recruit since 2019.

"They have recruited me hard since I was a freshman. They have proven player development and can help me be a better player and grow as a person. I trust they will be there for me on good days and bad," said Diallo.

Diallo chose Washington over Arizona, Gonzaga, and USC.

Billy Richmond Commits To Kentucky

Billy Richmond has committed to Kentucky. Richmond also considered Alabama, LSU and Memphis.

Aaron Bradshaw and DJ Wagner are former teammates of Richmond and currently with Kentucky.

Richmond is the 34th ranked prospect in the incoming class.

Khaman Maluach To Graduate High School Next Summer, Will Be Eligible For 2025 NBA Draft

17-year-old Khaman Maluach has decided to graduate from high school next summer and will be eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft.

The 7-foot-2 center is being recruited by Duke, Kentucky, UCLA, Kansas and Baylor.

"I want to go somewhere where they put my development first. Get me ready for the next step, but also winning too. I would like to go somewhere where I can win a championship," said Maluach.

Maluach was most recently named MVP of the NBA's Basketball Without Borders Africa camp in August.

Maluach is also a member of the South Sudan national team.

Bronny James To Make USC Debut On Sunday

USC Men's Basketball announced that Bronny James has been upgraded to available to play on Sunday against Long Beach State. James has been out since suffering cardiac arrest over the summer.

It's unknown what James' role will be for the Trojans, as he works his way back on to the court. It's also not known if James will have a minutes restriction in his initial action. The 6-foot-4 guard was expected to be a major contributor to USC before the cardiac arrest incident during summer workouts.

USC 'Anticipates' Bronny James Making Debut On Sunday

USC head coach Andy Enfield said that he's expecting Bronny James to make his USC debut on Sunday.

"We anticipate that. It's not my final decision. It'll be Bronny's final decision plus the doctors. But we're leaning towards that," said Enfield on Friday.

James completed his second straight full contact practice on Friday.

James will come off the bench and be on a minutes restriction upon his return.

Bronny James went through his first full contact practice on Thursday and could make his season debut on Sunday against Long Beach State.

USC coach Andy Enfield said his staff will monitor James over the next couple days before making a final decision.

"We assume," said Enfield on whether James will debut on Sunday.

Enfield added that James will be on a minutes restriction and come off the bench for his debut.

Dylan Harper has committed to Rutgers as part of the 2024 incoming class. Harper is ranked No. 2 by ESPN in the class.

Harper joined No. 3 recruit Ace Bailey as part of the class.

Harper is the son of former NBA player Ron Harper.

Bronny James Practices In Limited Capacity, On A Path 'To Being Ready To Play Very Quickly'

Bronny James was a limited participant at USC's practice on Monday as he continues to wait for clearance to resume full-contact practice.

James plans to resume practice later this week after a final evaluation with the USC staff then return to games shortly after.

"Bronny has not been cleared fully yet from USC. He can participate without contact. He's done a good job of getting his conditioning and his strength back and I think he's on the path to being ready to play very quickly," said USC head coach Andy Enfield.

Mikey Williams Pleads Guilty To Making Criminal Threats

Mikey Williams plead guilty to a felony charge of making criminal threats on Thursday. Williams can get the charge reduced to a misdemeanor if he completes a gun safety course and finishes 80 hours of community service before his sentencing in August.

Williams was on trial for six felony gun charges and faced up to 28 years in prison from an incident at his home on March 27.

Williams signed with Memphis and has been away from the team since the incident. Head coach Penny Hardaway has not offered any updates to Williams' current status with the team.
