Bronny James Tabbed As Top-10 Pick In ESPN's First 2024 NBA Mock Draft

Feb 22, 2023 8:27 AM

Bronny James is projected as a top-10 selection in ESPN's first mock draft for 2024, which is significantly higher than many have expected based on his recruiting ranking.

James is a 6-foot-4 senior combo guard at Sierra Canyon School in California. He's undecided on his college of choice, as of this moment. With the NBA and NBPA seemingly no closer to eliminating the "one-and-done" rule in collective bargaining, James will likely attend one year of college before becoming draft eligible.

James, who is the eldest son of LeBron James, will become draft eligible for the first time in 2024, should he enter the draft after one year in college. James could also choose to play for the G League Ignite next season and get a jump-start on his professional career that way.

The draft eligibility of the younger James will coincide with the elder James having the ability to become an unrestricted free agent by declining his player option for the 2024-25 season. The elder James has indicated he'd like to play with his son in the NBA before he retires.

Brandon Miller Allegedly Brought Teammate Gun Used In Fatal Shooting

Feb 21, 2023 10:50 PM

Brandon Miller is accused of bringing a teammate a handgun used in a fatal shooting last month, according to police in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The information was revealed during a preliminary hearing for Darius Miles and Michael Lynn Davis, who face capital murder charges in the death of 23-year-old Jamea Jonae Harris.

Miles admitted to providing the weapon used in the incident, with Davis accused of firing the gun. Miles allegedly told Davis where he left his gun in Miller's car.

Miller has not been charged with a crime.

"Brandon hasn't been in any type of trouble, nor is he in any type of trouble in this case. Wrong spot at the wrong time," said Alabama coach Nate Oats on Tuesday, though he later backtracked his comments.

"Our understanding is that they have all been fully truthful and cooperative. In no way did I intend to downplay the seriousness of this situation or the tragedy of that night," added Oats.

Miller is a projected top-5 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Again, there is no sure thing in betting. Mike Tyson once lost to Buster Douglas at 42-1 odds. The Americans beat the Russians in 1980 at Lake Placid in Olympic hockey. But there are many games in which a lopsided outcome is almost sure to happen. Many college basketball games are played in which the underdog has almost no chance, for example.

So, maybe you use your $5 wager on one of them. With very high odds of winning such a bet, you can be confident you’ll win the $150 in bonus bets. Don’t forget: You’ll also win the profits  from that $5 successful bet.

If any of the bonus bets win, you can withdraw the profits straight to your bank account. If any of them lose, at least there was no real money out of pocket. This is pure house money, so you can have some fun and take a few shots.

DraftKings also has a great referral system that can put bonus bets in the accounts of you and a friend. You can see why the DraftKings promo code is a favorite promotion among both casual and serious bettors.
