Corey Brewer is expected to sign with the Oklahoma City Thunder once he clears waivers on Friday.

Brewer agreed upon a buyout with the Lakers on Wednesday.

Billy Donovan was Brewer's coach at Florida.

Jarell Eddie is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Chicago Bulls.

Eddie has been playing with the Windy City Bulls of the G League. Eddie was with the Bulls during preseason.

Eddie appeared in two games this season with the Celtics. Eddie played briefly for the Wizards and Suns during the 16-17 season.

Eddie went undrafted in 2014 out of Virginia Tech.

The Indiana Pacers will sign Trevor Booker on a minimum deal for the remainder of the season once he clears waivers.

Booker was waived by the 76ers to create a roster spot for Ersan Ilyasova.

Booker was traded by the Nets to the 76ers in November.

Booker was acquired by the 76ers as part of the Jahlil Okafor and Nik Stauskas trade.

Booker was a poor fit with the 76ers due to his inability to space the floor.

Booker is expected to receive interest from playoff teams.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Corey Brewer have reached an agreement on a contract buyout.

Brewer was traded by the Rockets to the Lakers last season.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Brewer could sign with the Thunder. Brewer played collegiately for Billy Donovan at Florida.

LeBron James considered the three billboards placed in Cleveland by a business based in Pennsylvania recruiting him to the 76ers to be a compliment. 

"You can say it's a distraction, it's not. Not a distraction," James said Tuesday morning. "It is actually very flattering that I'm sitting here at 33 and in my 15th year and teams or guys -- I don't want to say teams because that becomes tampering -- but people in their respective city want me to play for them. That's cool I think. That's dope."

James has a player option for next season, giving him the choice of remaining in Cleveland or entering free agency.

"A lot of potholes on 480," James said with a smile when asked if he's driven on I-480 recently. "Got to be careful with the cars. Got to be very careful. That's why I don't do much driving. I sit in the backseat. You talking about the billboards though?

"I didn't talk to y'all yesterday but I seen it before that just in case I saw y'all."

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to sign Jaylen Morris to a 10-day contract.

Morris is averaging 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 39 games this season with the Erie Bayhawks of the G League.

Morris went undrafted in 2017 out of Molloy.

Dwyane Wade is genuinely unsure if he will extend his playing career beyond the current season. If Wade does return, it will only be with the Miami Heat.

“I don’t know,” Wade said. “I have told everybody around me that I am taking it after this season and go from there. It’s the first year I’ve ever went into the summer with that mind-set. I always went into it as a free agent or opting out of a deal to get another deal. This is the first summer I can say I’m just going into the summer and see how I feel and see the position this organization is in and go from there. I’m not really concerned with it, honestly. I’m cool with whatever I decide to do. It will be my decision.”

Wade will have to consider whether he has the desire to play.

“Definitely,” he said. “You definitely have to check that. A lot of things go into it. Do you want to put that same grind in again? As you get older, it’s a different kind of grind to get ready for games, to get your body ready. [And] can you mentally go through another year and give it your all and not be checked out in the middle of that season?

“[Udonis Haslem] always talked about, as you get older, you take it year by year. But this is the first summer that I will go into the summer and say I ain’t got much hair left, but I’m going to let my hair down and look at everything as a whole, my family and basketball. Being back here helps that situation for me, makes the decision even easier since now that I’m back already. And sit down with Pat [Riley] and Micky [Arison] and everybody and see what’s best for me and go from there.”

The New York Knicks have reduced the minutes of Jarrett Jack as the team pivots to developing their younger players.

Jack will consider a buyout before Thursday's deadline.

"I've never done it before to jump from one team in the middle of the season to a playoff squad. I know that's what other guys have done. To be honest, I don't really know," Jack said. "Maybe I do need to sit down and look at a list of what my best possible options are. But as of today I'm with the Knicks and want to help in any capacity I can."

Jack is on an expiring minimum deal.

"Obviously I'd like to be on the court but I think they're allowing some of these younger guys to get some opportunities to show where they're at amongst the other guys in this league and it's coach's decision," Jack said. "We were in Orlando (for a game last week) and he said we'll move in that direction. It's not for me to have an opinion on it."

If Joakim Noah and the New York Knicks are unable to agree upon a buyout this week, sources say the Players Association will intensify its interest in his situation.

Noah has been away from the team indefinitely following his altercation with Jeff Hornacek during a practice in January. Hornacek reportedly first turned the altercation into a physical one.

The Knicks were unable to trade Noah at the deadline and could attempt to do so again this offseason.

Hornacek's future with the Knicks is also uncertain.

Earlier this month, the union released a statement to The Post, stating: “We are closely monitoring the situation to make sure Joakim Noah is treated fairly under the rules of our collective bargaining agreement.”
