The Sacramento Kings have signed Louis King to a Two-Way contract.

King played in 10 games with the Detroit Pistons during the 19-20 season.

King averaged 13.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 45.6 percent on three-pointers for the Westchester Knicks in the G League bubble.

Anderson Varejao plans to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the remainder of the season.

Varejao spent 12 seasons with the Cavaliers. 

Varejao last played in the NBA in 2017 with the Golden State Warriors. 

Mfiondu Kabengele has agreed to a contract for the rest of the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The deal contains non-guarantees for 21-22 and 22-23.

Kabengele was a first round pick in 2019 by the Los Angeles Clippers. 

The Philadelphia 76ers will sign Anthony Tolliver to a contract for the remainder of the season.

Tolliver will be coming off two consecutive 10-day contracts. 

Tolliver has appeared in five games with the 76ers, averaging 12.4 minutes. 

Mikal Bridges will become eligible for a contract extension with the Phoenix Suns this offseason.

Bridges is averaging 13.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 40.1 percent on three-pointers in this third NBA season. 

"Rival executives expect Bridges' deal might approach $20 million per season," wrote Zach Lowe.

The Suns must also consider extending Deandre Ayton while Chris Paul could become a free agent. Phoenix already has Devin Booker on a max contract.

The Houston Rockets offered their general manager job to Jay Bilas in 2007 before eventually hiring Daryl Morey. 

Bilas played collegiately at Duke in the 1980s and then played in Europe for a few seasons before becoming an assistant coach at Duke while attending law school. Bilas became a broadcaster for ESPN in 1995.

Bilas detailed the possibility of running the Rockets during an interview with Adrian Wojnarowski. 

Bilas was initially approached by a headhunter to gauge if he would have interest in working for an NBA team in a front office capacity. The headhunter didn't initially identify the team with interest, which was eventually revealed to be the Rockets. 

Bilas flew to Houston to meet with Leslie Alexander for several hours and then returned to his home in North Carolina. 

Alexander later requested Bilas meet with him again, this time at his home in La Jolla, California. After the two spoke for about 45 minutes, Alexander offered the general manager job to Bilas.

Bilas responded that he would like to accept the job but they would have to discuss terms.

Bilas eventually negotiated with Alexander's lawyers and were unable to agree to a deal. 

The Denver Nuggets intend to sign Austin Rivers to a contract for the remainder of the season.

Rivers has averaged 5.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 24.1 minutes in five games since joining the Nuggets.

Rivers began the season with the New York Knicks and was waived after his trade to the Oklahoma City Thunder. 

Rivers gives the Nuggets depth at guard following the season-ending injury to Jamal Murray. 

The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to sign Yogi Ferrell for the remainder of the season.

The Clippers will also have Ferrell under a non-guaranteed contract for 21-22.

Ferrell has appeared in three games for the Clippers, averaging 4.7 points and 3.3 assists in 9.7 minutes. 

Luca Vildoza has agreed to sign with the New York Knicks.

Vildoza previously reached agreement with Baskonia on a buyout.

Vildoza is a 25-year-old point guard from Argentina averaging 10.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 24.5 minutes per game this season in Spain. 

The Knicks were previously planning on signing Simi Shuittu with their open spot. 

The Sacramento Kings have agreed to sign Chimezie Metu to a multi-year deal.

“Chimezie has worked hard this season and done a terrific job to earn his place on the team,” said Monte McNair. “He provides toughness and energy to the group. We are happy to watch his career develop in a Kings uniform.”

During the 2020-21 season, Metu has appeared in 28 games (no starts) with the Kings, averaging 5.1 points (.556 FG%, .690 FT%), 2.5 rebounds and 10.2 minutes per game.
