The Chicago Bulls remain confident that their offer to Zach LaVine of a five-year, nearly $215 million contract will eventually be agreed upon.

LaVine was not expected to make a decision on the opening night of free agency.

LaVine has become an All-Star player since the Bulls allowed him to test restricted free agency and sign a four-year, $78 million offer sheet with the Sacramento Kings that they eventually matched. 

Mike Muscala has agreed to a one-year deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the veteran's minimum.

Muscala has spent the past three seasons with the Thunder. 

Andre Drummond has agreed to sign with the Chicago Bulls on a two-year, $6.6 million deal. The second year of the deal is a player option. 

Drummond spent last season with the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets.

The Bulls finished last season with Tristan Thompson as their backup center behind Nikola Vucevic. 

Kevin Durant has requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets, but the chances of the Los Angeles Lakers offering Anthony Davis in return is described by one source to Jovan Buha of The Athletic as "zero."

The Lakers are focused on trading for Kyrie Irving, who also appears to be focused on finding his way to the franchise. A scenario in which the Lakers would acquire both Irving and Durant in a package deal has been floated by multiple executives to ESPN.

Durant has four seasons remaining on his contract and has the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat atop his wish list. Irving is on an expiring contract and has limited trade value currently. 

Jalen Brunson has agreed to sign with the New York Knicks on a four-year, $104 million deal.

The deal includes a player option in the final season.

The Dallas Mavericks offered Brunson a five-year, $106 million contract.

Brunson was expected to sign with the Knicks throughout the week.

Delon Wright has agreed to a two-year, $16 million deal with the Washington Wizards.

Wright spent last season with the Atlanta Hawks.

The Wizards have previously added Will Barton and Monte Morris to surround Bradley Beal in the backcourt. 

Wright is represented by Greg Lawrence.

Kyle Anderson has agreed to sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a two-year, $18 million deal. 

The Wolves are using part of the $10.5 million midlevel exception to sign Anderson.

Anderson is coming off a four-year, $37.2 million deal with the Memphis Grizzlies. 

Kevin Knox has agreed to a two-year, $6 million deal with the Detroit Pistons.

Knox finished last season with the Atlanta Hawks. 

Gary Harris has agreed to a two-year, $26 million extension with the Orlando Magic. Harris agreed to the extension hours before the start of the 22-23 league year in which he would have been an unrestricted free agent.

The Magic traded for Harris in 2021 as part of the Aaron Gordon deal.

James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers will meet over the weekend to discuss his next contract.

Harden opted out of his $47.4 million player option for 22-23 with the Sixers and is widely expected to sign a multi-year deal at over $30 million per year. Harden is prepared to take less money on his contract in order to sign P.J. Tucker and Danuel House.

The Sixers traded for Harden at the deadline.
