The Cleveland Cavaliers signed Daniel Hamilton to an Exhibit 10 contract, league sources told Chris Fedor of cleveland.com.

The 24-year-old Hamilton is the 19th player invited to Cavs training camp. 

Hamilton will compete with Sindarius Thornwell, Jarell Martin, Marques Bolden and J.P. Macura for one of the final roster spots, according to Fedor.

The Cavs plan to carry 14 players on their roster, one short of the league maximum. 

The Atlanta Hawks signed Marcus Derrickson to an Exhibit 10 deal.

Derrickson played in 11 games for the Warriors last season.

Jordan Loyd was waived by the Toronto Raptors.

The 26-year-old Loyd, who played 12 games for the Raptors last season, was about to enter the second year of a two-year deal.

Loyd is reportedly seeking a deal in Europe. 

The Oklahoma City Thunder have bought out the final year of Patrick Patterson's contract, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski.

Patterson, who appeared in 63 games last season, is expected to sign with the Clippers.
