The Brooklyn Nets exercised 2023-24 rookie scale team options for Day'Ron Sharpe and Cam Thomas. These were third-year options for both players.

Sharpe appeared in 32 games (eight starts) as a rookie last season. He averaged 6.2 points and 5.0 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per game. This season, Sharpe may see a bigger role, as Brooklyn is in need of center depth behind Nicolas Claxton.

Thomas saw action in 67 games (two starts) as a rookie. He averaged 8.5 points on 43% shooting from the field. Thomas is expected to see increased minutes early in the season as both Seth Curry and Joe Harris continue to recover from ankle surgeries.

The Dallas Mavericks have converted McKinley Wright IV to a Two-Way contract. Wright had been with the Mavs on an Exhibit 10 contract for the preseason.

Wright was with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a Two-Way contract last season. He appeared in five NBA games.

In 18 G League games with the Iowa Wolves, Wright averaged 18.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game. The 5-foot-11 point guard moved to Dallas as a free agent this summer. Wright will now split his time between the Mavs and the Texas Legends of the G League.

The Washington Wizards have converted Jordan Goodwin to a Two-Way contract. Goodwin was signed to a convertible Exhibit 10 contract for the preseason.

Goodwin saw limited action in two NBA appearances last season. He had been called up on a hardship 10 Day contract due to players being in the health and safety protocols.

In 31 G League with the Capital City Go-Go, Goodwin shined. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 16.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game.

The LA Clippers converted the contract for Moses Brown to a Two-Way deal. Brown had been signed to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deal.

The 7-foot-2 center provides LA with depth behind Ivica Zubac. The two are the only traditional fives on the Clippers roster.

Los Angeles will be Brown's fifth stop in the NBA. He's previously played for the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks and Cleveland Cavaliers. In 92 NBA games (38 starts), Brown has averaged 6.0 points and 5.8 rebounds.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have exercised their 2023-24 rookie scale team options for Evan Mobley and Isaac Okoro. These were the third-year option for Mobley and the fourth-year option for Okoro.

Mobley was a breakout player as a rookie last season. He averaged 14.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game. Mobley is already considered one of the better defensive big men in the NBA.

Okoro has averaged 9.2 points, and 3.0 rebounds over the first 134 games of his NBA career. Last season Okoro made major strides as a shooter, as he shot 48% overall and 35% from three-point range.

The Memphis Grizzlies exercised 2023-24 rookie scale team options for Santi Aldama, Desmond Bane and Ziaire Williams. These were a fourth-year option for Bane and third-year options for Aldama and Williams.

Bane has become one of the Grizzlies key players. In his second season, Bane averaged 18.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. He also shot 43.6% on three-pointers.

Aldama saw limited NBA playing time in his rookie season, but flashed good offensive ability in the G League. Aldama is expected to play a bigger role this season, with Jaren Jackson Jr. out due to injury to begin the year.

Williams showed good promise as a rookie. He averaged 8.1 points on 45% shooting. Williams' role grew month-by-month and he's expected to be a key rotation player for Memphis this season.

The Oklahoma City Thunder exercised their rookie scale team options for Josh Giddey, Tre Mann and Aleksej Pokusevski. All options were for the 2023-24 season. They were third-year options for Giddey and Mann and a fourth-year option for Pokusevski.

Giddey averaged 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists as a rookie last season. The 6-foot-8 guard is considered a key part of Oklahoma City's rebuild.

Mann was also a rookie last season. He turned in 10.4 points and 2.8 rebounds in 22.8 minutes per game.

Pokusevski has averaged 7.8 points and 5.0 rebounds over 106 games in his two-year NBA career.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have picked up their team options for Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels for the 2023-24 season. These are fourth-year options for both Edwards and McDaniels.

Edwards averaged 21.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals in his second season. The 6-foot-5 guard is poised to make his first All-Star team this season.

McDaniels averaged 9.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 25.8 minutes per game off the Wolves bench last season. He was recently named as Minnesota's starting small forward for this upcoming season, alongside Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert and D'Angelo Russell.

The Los Angeles Lakers will bring Matt Ryan onto their regular season roster. Ryan was signed to a non-guaranteed training camp contract.

Ryan finished last season with the Boston Celtics on a Two-Way contract. In 30 G League games between the Grand Rapids Gold and the Maine Celtics, Ryan averaged 19.4 points and shot 41.3% on three-pointers.

Because Ryan's contract was an Exhibit 9 deal vs an Exhibit 10 contract, the Lakers weren't able to convert Ryan to a Two-Way deal. Ryan's deal will now convert to a standard non-guaranteed contract. Los Angeles will incur a per day cap/tax hit for each day Ryan is on the roster, until his contract fully guarantees, which will happen if Ryan isn't waived by January 7.

Luka Garza signed a two-way deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Garza averaged 7.3 points while shooting 66.7% from the 3-point line during preseason.
