NBA Efficiency Differential Rankings: Spurs, Warriors Double Up All Except OKC

The San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors finally meet on Monday for the first time this season, which can see a real shift in Efficiency Differential.

After the Warriors' fast start to the season, the Spurs caught them in this category in mid-December.

Both the Spurs and Warriors have an Efficiency Differential twice as good as every team in the NBA except the Oklahoma City Thunder.

NBA Efficiency Differential Rankings: Raptors Move Into Top-5

The gap between the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors in Efficiency Differential widened over the past week with the two losses by the Warriors. The number did, however, go back up with the Warriors' win over the Cavaliers.

The Toronto Raptors moved into the top-5 from last week, swapping places with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Both the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors improved their Efficiency Differential over the past week despite being at the approximate halfway mark of the season.

The Clippers moved into the top-5 after being ranked eighth last week.

NBA Efficiency Differential Rankings: Spurs Extend Lead Over Warriors

The San Antonio Spurs have extended their edge over the Golden State Warriors in Efficiency Differential to nearly three points per 100 possessions.

The Spurs have a +14.5 differential compared to +11.7 for the Warriors.

The Warriors' differential dropped from +13.2 over the past week with a loss at the Dallas Mavericks without Stephen Curry, as well as an overtime win over the Denver Nuggets. The Spurs have a 29-6 record compared to 31-2 for the Warriors.
