The Boston Celtics have suspended forward Jared Sullinger one game for his role in an incident that occurred on August 31, 2013.

The suspension will be served during the Celtics' season opner at Toronto on Oct. 30.

"Jared's case was dismissed yesterday in Waltham District Court," Danny Ainge said in a statement. "While we are satisfied that this was the correct ruling, we are suspending Jared for one game because he failed to meet the high expectations we have for all Celtics employees."

Markieff Morris has been suspended one game without pay for elbowing Serge Ibaka in the face, the NBA announced on Thursday.

The incident occurred in Tuesday night's game between the Phoenix Suns and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Hasheem Thabeet has been suspended one game without pay for head butting Greg Stiemsma, the NBA announced on Monday.

The incident occurred in the Oklahoma City Thunder's preseason game against the New Orleans Pelicans last Thursday.

Tracy McGrady had a run of several seasons in which he was one of the NBA's best players that was eventually slowed down by injuries.

"I didn't believe I was going to get there naturally," said McGrady about returning to his pre-injury form.

"I actually considered getting an advantage and whatever that was, doing it illegally, I considered that," said McGrady about using performance enhancing drugs.

McGrady talked about how common it is in baseball to stay healthy.

"I never crossed that line because I read up on it and seen the side effects that could happen."

Devin Ebanks has been suspended for two games for driving under the influence of alcohol. 

Ebanks signed in September with the Dallas Mavericks.

The NBA suspended Brooklyn Nets' head coach Jason Kidd for two games for pleading guilty to driving while ability impaired, in violation of the law of the State of New York.

Kidd will be suspended for the first two games of the 2013-14 NBA regular season.

Kidd was hired as the Nets' head coach in the offseason.
