Zach Randolph Avoids Jail With Plea Deal

Sep 13, 2017 9:09 PM

Zach Randolph has pled no contest to resisting arrest and possession of marijuana stemming from an incident in August in Los Angeles. The deal will allow Randolph to avoid jail time.

Randolph will need to complete 150 hours of community service. If Randolph completes the community service and has no run-ins with the law over the next 12 months, the resisting arrest conviction will be removed from his record.

Randolph must also avoid associating with any drug dealers as part of the agreement.

Randolph signed a two-year, $24 million deal with the Sacramento Kings in July.

The NBA could still issue discipline to Randolph.
