Jonas Valanciunas Enters League's Health And Safety Protocols, Out For Monday Game

Jonas Valanciunas has entered the NBA's health and safety protocols, and will miss the Memphis Grizzlies' game against the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.

The Sixers-Thunder game on Sunday has been postponed due to contact tracing connected with the Grizzlies. 

The Grizzlies played the Timberwolves on Wednesday night. Karl-Anthony Towns announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

Kemba Walker Set To Play 20 Minutes In Season Debut

Kemba Walker will play around 20 minutes in his season debut on Sunday, according to Brad Stevens.

"Obviously he's excited to play. He's ready to play. They've put in a lot of work to get to this point, and we're looking forward to having him out there," said Stevens.

After struggling with knee issues last season, Walker was put on a 12-week strengthening program in October.

The Celtics currently lead the Eastern Conference with an 8-3 record.

McCollum suffered the injury on Saturday night against the Hawks.

There is no timetable for McCollum's return.

Caris LeVert Out Indefinitely After MRI Reveals Small Mass On Kidney

Caris LeVert is out indefinitely after an MRI revealed a small mass on his left kidney.

The mass was revealed during a physical after LeVert was traded to the Pacers.

"On behalf of my family and myself, we want to thank the Indiana Pacers for their support and guidance. We are grateful for their extreme thoroughness during the physical process and I am looking forward to joining the team and being part of this great organization as soon as possible," released LeVert in a statement.

The Pacers received cash and an additional second-round pick to officially complete the trade.

The Indiana Pacers received $2.6 million from the Brooklyn Nets and future second-round picks from the Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets to complete the James Harden trade.

The additional assets were sent after a mass was discovered in Caris LeVert's kidney during his physical with the Pacers. 

LeVert is currently out indefinitely.

Six Wizards Players Test Positive For COVID-19, Three More In Protocol

The Washington Wizards have had six players text positive for COVID-19, with three more in protocol.

"If you follow our track really going back to when we played Chicago [Dec. 29 and 31], almost every team we've played, a player tested positive. The next day [and] the next day, multiple players at some places. It was inevitable," said Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard.

The Wizards, who last played on Monday, have had their next two games postponed. 

The team is hoping that if there are no new cases on Saturday, then players who are not in quarantine will be able to return to the practice facility.
