Kevin Love Out 6-8 Weeks With Fractured Hand

Kevin Love will miss six to eight weeks with a fracture in his left hand.

Love's injury occurred in the first quarter of Tuesday's game.

Love received X-rays at the arena that revealed a non-displaced fracture in the fifth metacarpal.

Love underwent surgery on the same hand in October 2009 that required three screws to be inserted.

John Wall Out Six Weeks With Knee Surgery

John Wall will undergo a clean up knee procedure on Wednesday and miss approximately six weeks.

Wall has been dealing with periodic knee soreness since injuring it in early November. Wall underwent an additional MRI on Monday.

Wall previously was treated with having his knee drained and having injections.

Wall had two knee surgeries in May 2016.

Jabari Parker To Make Season Debut Feb. 2nd

Jabari Parker has been medically cleared to return to game action on Friday, Feb. 2.

“Jabari has worked extremely hard with our medical, performance and coaching staffs to get to this point,” said General Manager Jon Horst. “He’s passed all the tests and been cleared to return by our team physician Dr. William Raasch of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network. Just as important, Jabari feels ready to play and we’re excited for his return to game action on Friday.”

Parker suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee on Feb. 8, 2017, and underwent surgery to repair the injury on Feb. 14. In 51 games (50 starts) last season, Parker averaged 20.1 points (2nd on team), 6.2 rebounds (3rd on team), 2.8 assists (4th on team) and 1.0 steals in 33.9 minutes (2nd on team) per game. He scored in double figures 47 times, including 20-plus points in 28 games.

Chandler Parsons Denies Report Grizzlies Approached Him On Injury Retirement

The Memphis Grizzlies may have approached Chandler Parsons about a potential injury retirement.

Parsons has only played in 26 games this season and could miss the remainder of the season due to recurring knee issues.

Parsons strongly denied the report on Twitter.

Parsons signed a four-year, $94 million contract with the Grizzlies in 2016.

Mike Conley Out For Season With Surgery On Heel

Mike Conley will undergo season-ending surgery on his left heel.

The surgery will "smooth a small bone protrusion" in his left heel.

Chris Wallace announced the surgery in an email sent Saturday to Grizzlies season-ticket holders.

"Mike has been extremely diligent as we pursued multiple different approaches to alleviate the pain before deciding surgery was the best solution," Wallace's email read.

Conley appeared in just 12 games this season.

Andre Roberson Out For Season With Ruptured Left Patellar Tendon

Andre Roberson suffered a ruptured left patellar tendon during the third quarter of Saturday's win by the Thunder over Detroit.

Roberson was taken off the court on a stretcher after his left leg appeared to give out on the receiving end of an alley-oop attempt.

Roberson is expected to miss the remainder of the season and will undergo surgery.

"He's certainly a huge loss," Thunder coach Billy Donovan said after Saturday's game. "Everyone's been able to see that since he's kinda come back to us and what he's been able to do defensively. And he's found a way to be, offensively, a really effective player for us."

Lakers Remaining Cautious With Lonzo Ball's MCL Sprain

Lonzo Ball will out up to three weeks with a minor MCL sprain.

Ball was hurt in a game on Jan. 13th and has missed six straight games.

Luke Walton said Ball will have to go through a full practice before returning to play.

"He's feeling better every day," Walton said. "I wouldn't be surprised if within a couple of days, a week, whatever it is, they say he's ready to start practicing again.

"But we are still training and approaching it as if it's long term. We are not making any plans as if he's coming back tomorrow."

Marcus Smart returned to Boston following right hand lacerations suffered from a non-basketball incident prior to Wednesday night’s game vs. the LA Clippers.

Following evaluation by Drs. Tony Schena and Drew Terono at New England Baptist Hospital, it was determined that Smart’s timeline for a return to action is approximately two weeks.

Tyler Lydon has undergone successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. The surgery was performed by UCHealth surgeon Dr. Armando Vidal.

The injury occurred Wednesday, January 24th while the Rio Grande Valley Vipers were playing the Iowa Wolves in the NBA G League.

There is currently no timetable for his return.

DeMarcus Cousins Suffers Torn Achilles

DeMarcus Cousins suffered a torn Achilles tendon and will miss the remainder of the season.

Cousins will undergo surgery to repair the injury. Cousins will be a free agent this offseason.

"We were starting to play damn good basketball," Alvin Gentry told ESPN in a text message. "DeMarcus has been great."

Cousins suffered the injury with approximately 12 seconds left in the game.

After landing hard on his left leg, Cousins hopped a couple of times on his right foot and then collapsed to the court when he attempted to put pressure on his left foot again.
