Parker scored 12 of his points in the third quarter as France rallied from a five-point halftime deficit.

Pau Gasol scored 27 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, to push Spain past Britain 84-76 Tuesday at the European basketball championship.

"We kept our nerves under control and we also hit some important shots and played some good defense," coach Sergio Scariolo said. "We stay alive and stay in the competition."

The victory kept Spain on track for their first European title.

Tyronn Lue received an interesting offer from Greek team Thessaloniki PAOK.

However, the point guard has turned the offer down in favor of remaining in the NBA, according to SLAM Online.

PAOK is close to signing point guard Tyronn Lee, according to TalkBasket.net.

The Greek club plays in the First Division.

Lue is a veteran of 11 NBA seasons.
