The NBA announced that 283 players have declared as early entry candidate for the 2022 NBA Draft. This includes 247 college players and 36 under-22 international players.

NCAA players have until June 1 to withdraw from the draft and maintain their NCAA eligibility. All others have until 5:00 PM ET on June 13 to withdraw.

The number of early entry candidates the past two years has been somewhat inflated. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NCAA has granted all players additional eligibility. Because of this, seniors who are normally auto-eligible for the draft must declare as early entry candidates.

The 2022 NBA Draft is on June 23.

Kansas senior Ochai Agbaji has declared as an Early Entry candidate for the 2022 NBA Draft. Despite being a senior, Agbaji had to declare for the draft, because the NCAA has granted all players an additional year of eligibility due to the COVID pandemic.

Agbaji was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four, after leading Kansas to the 2022 National Championship. For the season, the 6-foot-5 wing averaged 18.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Agbaji has great improved his shot in his four years with the Jayhawks. As a senior, he shot 47.5% from the floor, including 40.9% from behind the arc on 6.5 three-point attempts per game.

Most draft experts project Agbaji as a late-first to early-second round pick. One of the knocks against him is that he doesn't have elite size on the wing, and he's already 22-years-old.

Duke freshman wing A.J. Griffin is following the lead of several teammates and has declared as an Early Entry Candidate for the 2022 NBA Draft. Griffin becomes the fourth Blue Devil to declare for the draft. He joins Paolo Banchero, Trevor Keels, Wendell Moore Jr. and Mark Williams on the Early Entry list.

In his lone season at Duke, Griffin averaged 10.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-6 wing shot 49.3% from the field, including 44.7% on three-pointers.

Griffin projects to be a mid-lottery pick by most draft experts. Several have him ranked inside the top-10.

University of Kansas junior Christian Braun has declared as an Early Entry candidate for the 2022 NBA Draft. Braun has been a two-year starter for the Jayhawks.

In his third season at Kansas, Braun averaged 14.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. The 6-foot-6 wing shot 38.6% from behind the arc as well.

Most experts project Braun as a late-first to early-second round pick. Braun will maintain his college eligibility to return to the defending national champions, as he goes through the draft process.

Duke freshman Trevor Keels has declared as an Early Entry candidate for the 2022 NBA Draft. Keels joins four other Blue Devils in making himself available for the draft.

That group includes projected lottery picks Paolo Banchero and Mark Williams, as well as potential first-rounder Wendell Moore Jr.

Keels projects to be selected in the late-first to early-second round. In his freshman season, the 6-foot-4 point guard averaged 11.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

Milwaukee wing Patrick Baldwin Jr. has declared as an Early Entry candidate for the 2022 NBA Draft. Baldwin leaves Milwaukee after one season at the school.

In 11 games, the 6-foot-9 wing averaged 12.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Baldwin battled injuries at two different points, which cost him most of his freshman season.

Because of his limited experience, Baldwin's draft projections are highly varied. Some see him as a potential mid-first round selection, while other have him mocked as a late-first to early-second rounder.

Wendell Moore Jr. became the third Duke player to declare for the 2022 NBA Draft following his announcement on Thursday.

Moore also plans on hiring an agent. 

"This program, this school, my teammates, coaches, and you the fans, have meant so much to me and my family. Together, we have produced memories and experiences that will last forever," wrote Moore on Instagram.

Moore is ranked as the No. 35 pick in the latest mock draft from ESPN's Jonathan Givony. 

Moore averaged 13.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 39 starts this season while captaining the team. 

Shaedon Sharpe will declare for the 2022 NBA Draft, leaving Kentucky after his freshman season.

Sharpe, who is a potential high lottery pick, plans to remain in the draft.

Chet Holmgren will enter the 2022 NBA Draft and leave Gonzaga after his freshman season.

Holmgren is expected to be a top-3 pick in the draft.

"After a season where we accomplished a lot of great things as both a team and an individual, I feel like I'm in a position to be able to chase my lifelong dream to play in the NBA," Holmgren told ESPN.

Paolo Banchero announced his decision to enter the 2022 NBA Draft in a video posted to social media.

"It has always been a dream of mine to play at Duke, and it has always been a dream of mine to play in the NBA," said Banchero.

Banchero is projected to be the No. 3 pick in the draft, according to the latest mock from ESPN's Jonathan Givony.

Banchero averaged 17.2 points and 7.8 rebounds during the season.

"He is so dynamic, explosive and versatile -- a model player in today's NBA game. He did whatever we asked at a very high level," added Mike Krzyzewski in a statement.
