NBA Commissioner David Stern announced on Monday that he has no plans on re-opening the NBA's collective bargaining agreement to alter the minimum age of players coming into the NBA, the Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting.

Stern has said that he'd prefer the minimum age, currently set at 19, to be raised to least 20.

"We are going to work on on-the-court and off-the-court skills of young players, whether they ultimately make it into the NBA, or they don't," Stern said yesterday. "We're going to use the values of the game to improve people's understanding of teamwork, discipline, and hard work."
